Aliases & name spellings
- Zeno, Omni-King, “King of all” (Vegeta, ep 0005 00:04:37); “Zen-chan” (Goku’s/Vegito’s nickname, ep 0003 00:14:56).
- Transcription variant: “Xena” (ep 0004 00:08:17).
- “The god of all” (GT Beerus, ep 0013 00:05:07). Transcription variant “Xeno” again (ep 0013 00:12:39).
Overview
The supreme ruler above the gods. With the Grand Priest and his guards, he received Vegito after the Gods of Destruction’s punishment and would not listen to him (ep 0003 00:14:25–00:16:55). Whis blames him, his father and the eleven gods for Vegito’s suffering (ep 0004 00:20:23).
As of the latest episode (ep 0261): dead in Vegito’s timeline. He treated Vegito’s rampage as a show, kept it going for his own fun, and was killed on his new throne by two demon guards (ep 0102 00:02:16–00:26:51) — guards Dai says he made while Lucif controlled him (ep 0151 00:03:51–00:04:15). Other multiverses’ Zenos appear in flashbacks (see Variants).
Earlier: asked by the Grand Priest when to deal with Vegito, he answers with “a blank and lifeless expression unlike any we have ever seen before”: “Hmm, not yet. Not yet.” (ep 0021 00:31:22–00:31:39). See zeno-not-yet. Zeno enjoys watching “Son Goku” and knows the Grand Priest acted “behind my back”; his threat leaves the Grand Priest in fear (ep 0047 00:17:26–00:18:11). Zeno cheers the army of Vegitos, forbids the Grand Priest to intervene — reminding him of “the six other universes” and of “that brother of yours” — then, bored and hungry, calls Z home a moment before Vegito’s death, threatening “another six universes” (ep 0063 00:04:02–00:08:24, 00:33:56–00:35:50).
Affiliations & relationships
- Goku: Goku thought they were friends (ep 0005 00:04:23).
- Vegeta: recalls Zeno erasing his son’s entire universe (ep 0005 00:04:45).
- Grand Priest (Dai): his priest; Zeno threatens to send him “to the same place as your brother” (ep 0047 00:15:28–00:17:39); Dai, under Lucif’s control, made the guards who killed him (ep 0151 00:03:51–00:04:15).
- Lucif: sent “away… to be with the demons forever” by Zeno (ep 0087 00:09:36–00:10:45).
- Ultra Vegito: his favourite show — “This is the best show ever Dai!” (ep 0089 00:37:33–00:37:56); he declares Vegito the winner of his game (ep 0101 00:51:31–00:58:41).
- Zalama: summoned and commanded by him (ep 0093 00:12:05–00:25:07).
- Zeno’s guards: his royal guards; he recalls Z on a whim (ep 0063).
Abilities / traits
- Narration: his usual happy nature seemed gone, “two entirely different entities” (ep 0003 00:14:40–00:14:52) (said of both him and the Grand Priest).
- Has a weakness, “far harder to exploit” than the Grand Priest’s, according to Sidra (ep 0014 00:16:52–00:16:59).
- Goku once owned a button that summoned him; Sidra gave Bergamo a similar-looking device (ep 0013 00:25:52–00:26:00).
- Can erase everything around him — he starts to when he learns Lucif is back (ep 0087 00:09:36–00:10:45); has erased whole universes, “the six other universes” (ep 0063 00:04:02–00:08:24).
- Summons the Dragon God Zalama at will; one cold look from him ends Zalama’s objections (ep 0093 00:12:05–00:13:12, 00:24:43–00:25:07).

Open questions
- What exactly was his judgment? Never shown before his death (ep 0102); the thread is DROPPED (?). See zeno-judgment.
- What is the weakness Sidra claimed exists? Never revealed. See sidra-secrets, zeno-weakness.
- Were Dante and Virgil the two demon guards who killed him (ep 0102; ep 0151)? Very likely — the guard who later kills King Vegeta is “The Omni King killer”, Lucif’s “royal demon guard” (ep 0137 00:15:51–00:16:04), Dante’s title (ep 0144 00:01:23) — but never stated outright. See Virgil.
- Why does he keep saving Vegito — boredom alone? See zenos-game.
