Episode 0170 Title ULTRA Vegito Just Made His Biggest Mistake Released 2025-01-24 Length 40:44 Setting the icy planet in the merged realms Watch YouTube ↗
Summary
The episode opens after events not shown: Lucif is now the Omni Devil “in his all-new form”, Jiren lies bleeding with a hole in his chest, and Trunks has been turned to stone — and a Vegito arrives from the demon realm, but it is Lucif Vegito, the Devil (ep 0170 00:01:04–00:02:14, 00:04:11–00:04:21). Lucif questions him; meanwhile Goku restores Trunks with his archangel energy — the stone curse, like Dabura’s, is a demon’s technique — and Trunks gives Goku his last senzu bean, which heals Jiren (ep 0170 00:02:31–00:08:43). Jiren doubts the newcomer is the Vegito he knew (ep 0170 00:09:08–00:10:02). The Devil tells Lucif he is the Vegito smitten down after the time-ring battle with Z, who absorbed the other copies and took Lucif’s empty throne; he claims “our” Vegito, though stronger after absorbing the emperors, was beaten by his secret “ultimate trump card” — and he bows to Lucif: “At your command” (ep 0170 00:10:48–00:14:43). Goku, thinking Vegito has betrayed them again, despairs; Vegeta, enraged — “I made you, and I’ll be the one to end you!” — flies at him and is knocked down with an uppercut and a kick (ep 0170 00:15:28–00:19:44). Vegeta pushes Trunks away and says Vegito “knows nothing of loyalty… Only of power”; the energy and technique were “undoubtedly mine and Kakarot’s” (ep 0170 00:20:15–00:22:11). Goku, Jiren, Vegeta and Trunks power up to their limits; the Devil steps aside for Lucif, who warns that in the merged realms the dead go to no afterlife and no demon realm — “Only darkness will await” (ep 0170 00:22:44–00:26:31). Lucif outclasses all four: he barges Trunks, impales Vegeta with spears of hair, punches up through Jiren from the ground, and stops Goku’s light form with one throat grab (ep 0170 00:26:39–00:33:19). As Trunks despairs, a voice inside him calls him family: a double-horned figure with one red and one cyan eye offers its power; Trunks rises, crackling with red and cyan electricity, swats Lucif’s beam aside, calls the Omni Devil a joke, and tells Lucif: “I was only born recently after all… My half-brother” (ep 0170 00:33:52–00:39:39).

- Opened: Lucif’s half-brother · The Devil’s trump card
Uncertainties
- Gap in the story: ep 0169 ended with Vegito beating the Devil, Jiren matching Lucif and the merger completing; ep 0170 opens with Lucif in a new Omni Devil form, Jiren holed through the chest, Trunks turned to stone and the Devil in the mortal realm. None of this is shown; it may have happened in a part not on the channel (inferred).
- The Devil’s claim that he beat Vegito (00:12:50–00:13:36) is unconfirmed; he keeps the “trump card” secret.
- The voice in Trunks: “born recently”, Lucif’s “half-brother”, calls Trunks family (00:33:58–00:34:17, 00:39:16–00:39:33). Rani (mother of Lucif) wanted a child by Vegito (ep 0152, 0157), and Vegito now has her cyan-and-red eyes — so this may be Rani’s child by Vegito (inferred), or Nephilim Vegito himself (inferred). Not stated.
- Narration at 00:15:52 says “Vegito” where Vegeta is meant (likely).
