Summary

Vegito, now with black wings and black-and-red Seraphim, tells Dai that this time neither will use Lucif’s power; the drinking mother warns Dai that a loss now is his weakness alone (ep 0152 00:01:07–00:03:47). Vegito scatters into bolts of black lightning that pierce and fry Dai, then re-forms, mocking him (ep 0152 00:05:16–00:09:02). When Dai tries another Divine Smite, Vegito seizes his arm and uses Hakai — his first in a long while, now strong enough to work on an angel; Dai saves himself by cutting off his own arm (ep 0152 00:09:56–00:13:08). The mother hits Dai with a wine bottle, calls him a crippled failure and tells Vegito to kill him painfully; Dai reverts to his old boyish Grand Priest form and kneels for death, wanting to please his mother “for once” (ep 0152 00:14:30–00:19:14). Vegito refuses — his greatest rival isn’t worth killing like this — slaps Dai and tells him to remember who he is (ep 0152 00:20:52–00:22:31). He flies up, shatters the mother’s barrier and calls her out; she names herself Rani, mother of all angels and demon emperor of sector 1, says he reminds her of Lucif, and wants him to father her next child — “another star like Lucif” (ep 0152 00:22:43–00:27:45). She summons wine bottles out of thin air, then a giant one that flattens Vegito, then a storm of high-grade weapons like the higher angels’ (ep 0152 00:29:18–00:35:24). She catches his punch in her palm and knocks him into an asteroid with a knee and a palm strike (ep 0152 00:36:23–00:38:42). Inside him Kazuya’s voice urges him to use the Devil Gene, and a fully armoured devil arm, like Kazuya’s and the guards’, grips Rani’s shoulder — “a part devil transformation of Vegito” (ep 0152 00:38:48–00:41:08).

Uncertainties

  • Rani says Lucif was “His chosen vessel” (00:27:39) — whose vessel isn’t clear.
  • Her last line “L… Lucif… It’s not Lucif… To die…” (00:40:25–00:40:44) is garbled; she seems to mistake the arm for Lucif’s.
  • Where her bottles and weapons come from is not shown; “I didn’t see a thing in your hand” (00:29:56).
