Summary

Whis’s staff brings Vegito to a desolate planet of pyramids and palm trees, where he starts searching for the local god (ep 0008 00:00:38–00:01:25). A sky full of Hakai arrows rains down on him — Heles’s trap — and he collapses, pierced all over, swearing it can’t end like this (ep 0008 00:01:38–00:03:50). Heles and her angel Sawar step out; Heles gloats, yanks out an arrow and licks his blood, and can’t even remember Krillin when Vegito accuses her of erasing his best friend (ep 0008 00:03:54–00:09:00). Enraged, Vegito rises, burns the arrows out of his body, and Heles recognises a destroyer’s energy in him (ep 0008 00:09:09–00:10:41). As he lunges, Sawar breaks angel law to protect her with Ultra Instinct, but Vegito answers with complete Ultra Instinct of his own, splits both angel and god with one stroke of the God Slayer Blade, and erases them with a Hakai — “His name was Krillin!” (ep 0008 00:11:29–00:14:56). He counts nine gods and nine angels left and challenges the gods to come to him (ep 0008 00:15:13–00:15:28). Belmod and his angel Marcarita, watching through her staff, panic: Marcarita says Vegito has mastered destruction beyond the gods and Ultra Instinct at an angel’s level, and wonders what Whis gave him to make the staff obey (ep 0008 00:15:31–00:19:21). With Zeno and the Grand Priest nowhere to be found, Belmod decides to call on Jiren, who has trained mentally for ten years (ep 0008 00:19:58–00:21:01). Champa, watching with Vados, plans to fight fire with fire: Universe 6’s own Saiyans — Cabba, Kale, Caulifla and the King of Sadala (ep 0008 00:21:07–00:24:14).

  • Heles’s angel is heard as “Saur” and “Sawa”; written Sawar (the source series’ spelling). Marcarita is heard “Margarita”.
  • 00:11:40 narration says “The angel Korn” surrounds himself in Ultra Instinct; Korn is dead, so this is Sawar (likely a narrator slip; marked [?]).
  • “Who” Belmod means to call is shown, not named, at 00:20:46: Jiren. “Hakaishin” 00:20:28 is the Japanese term for God of Destruction.
  • Heles’s “the children” 00:11:24 is unexplained.
  • Heles says Vegito “betrayed his own god of destruction” 00:05:00 — her view, not a stated fact.
