Summary

Vegito rallies the Saiyans for the final battle, but Vegeta reminds him there are no time rings left and no second chances, and Goku would rather train longer (ep 0085 00:01:50–00:03:28). When Vegito calls Goku “Saiyan” as if he weren’t one, Gogeta finds it odd and Broly says outright that someone — probably Lucif — is speaking through him (ep 0085 00:03:37–00:05:00). A sudden pain grips Vegito’s head; when it passes his eyes are black again, he laughs off the Lucif idea as a slip of the tongue from too long with Frieza and Black, and calls Goku “Kakarot” once more (ep 0085 00:05:52–00:07:13). Goku heals the dying Jiren and Hit with his Seraphim powers; Jiren again refuses to become part of Vegito, and Vegito lets him go with the promise of a fair rematch, while Hit shakes his hand without a word and flies off — which Vegito says has given them “one more fighting chance” (ep 0085 00:07:18–00:13:12). Vegito then catches Black Frieza fleeing through space, impales him with his Cell tail as he begs for his life, drains him, and drops the empty skin on the battlefield (ep 0085 00:14:13–00:23:09). Broly, Yamoshi, the unconscious Goku Black and GT Gogeta are turned back into Buu matter and reabsorbed, each with a parting word; Goku and Vegeta are left out (ep 0085 00:23:44–00:30:04). Vegito’s power then surges out of control and blows up the whole planet; Goku saves himself and Vegeta with his Seraphim energy, now without even opening the Seraphim eye (ep 0085 00:30:16–00:33:31). Vegito, healed and back in his old gi, explains that Goku and Vegeta will fight Zeno’s two guards while he takes the Grand Priest, and Whis’s staff carries the three to Zeno’s dimension (ep 0085 00:33:47–00:38:11). Zeno greets them like a show; the Grand Priest says he too has waited for “this silly game” to end — and opens a time portal from which God of Destruction Goku of the Android-saga timeline steps out, blaming Vegito for everything he lost (ep 0085 00:39:09–00:43:28).

Key events

  • 00:03:06–00:03:28 Goku: the Zeno he knows erased [?] a universe in seconds; he’d rather be safe, remembering Cell.
  • 00:03:42–00:04:00 Vegito: “How you’ve fallen Son Goku… you can trust in me, Saiyan.”
  • 00:04:18–00:04:28 Gogeta: “He just called you a Saiyan. As if he wasn’t one himself.”

  • 00:06:32–00:07:13 His eyes are black again: he wouldn’t let “that ugly wretch take over me… just a slip of the tongue… It is most definitely me”; he calls Goku “Kakarot”.
  • 00:07:18–00:07:49 Vegito sends Goku to heal Jiren and Hit, both near death.
  • 00:08:17–00:08:59 Jiren neither thanks nor blames him, and won’t take part: “you will have to kill me. Before I ever become a part of you.”
  • 00:09:15–00:09:55 Vegito shakes his hand: he has power enough; they’ll have their rematch, “no tricks this time”. Jiren: “Of course son. I mean Vegito.”
  • 00:10:22–00:10:55 Vegito thanks Hit — without him “the fourth would have lost his patience” — and looks forward to learning what he can do with the ring.

  • 00:12:21–00:12:34 Gogeta: he looks like Cell, another android.

  • 00:14:03–00:14:12 Vegito: the real prize is the one who beat both of them, “fattening up for the last two decades”.
  • 00:14:20–00:15:42 In space, Black Frieza flees, planning to rebuild his army and rule a godless, angel-less universe.
  • 00:16:02–00:17:25 Vegito appears before him: Dark is dead, beaten “without even trying”.
  • 00:17:43–00:18:58 Frieza attacks in his true demon form; Vegito’s Cell tail goes through his body.
  • 00:19:18–00:19:53 Frieza begs: “20 years I spent with you… you became like family.”
  • 00:20:21–00:21:17 Vegito: “Just like on Namek…” — Frieza thought he could double-cross him.
  • 00:21:32–00:22:13 He stabs Frieza’s neck and absorbs him: “congratulations Frieza on finally becoming a monkey”.
  • 00:22:26–00:23:09 He throws Frieza’s drained skin and bones on the ground.

  • 00:26:52–00:28:28 Gogeta gives himself up: “this better be temporary like you said… free us all”.
  • 00:29:41–00:30:44 Goku and Vegeta aren’t taken: “You’re not needed anymore… I’m gonna need to use your powers in other ways”.
  • 00:31:03–00:32:43 Vegito’s power explodes in red and black lightning, and the planet is destroyed.
  • 00:32:50–00:33:31 Goku shields Vegeta with Seraphim energy without activating the eye: “I did it again”.
  • 00:33:47–00:34:39 Vegito, red-eyed again, healed and back in his original gi.
  • 00:34:39–00:36:17 His reasons: he may not need their powers; and the guards, Z and his brother, will fight — Z held back last time. Goku and Vegeta will take the guards; Vegito, “the main prize”.

  • 00:39:09–00:39:42 Zeno on his throne, with the two royal guards and the Grand Priest behind.
  • 00:39:42–00:40:21 Zeno: “Vegito you’re so cool”; Vegito: he has come for Zeno’s head and his “slave priest’s”.
  • 00:40:40–00:41:12 The Grand Priest: he too has waited for the day “this silly game comes to an end”; “this is not the same Saiyan we saw earlier”.

Uncertainties

  • From 00:15:05 the transcript runs in lowercase, several sentences per line, so timestamps there are approximate.
  • Several speaker lines say “Vegito” where Vegeta must be meant (00:05:34, 00:13:23, 00:14:02) and the reverse (00:35:12, 00:36:58); corrected as likely.
  • What Hit’s silent handshake gave them isn’t said; Vegito “seemingly… understood something” (00:12:41–00:12:46). It was the last time ring: Hit passed it to him in that “special handshake” (ep 0089 00:38:40–00:39:34, 00:41:37).
  • “All six legendary Saiyans” surround Vegito but only five are named (00:01:00); Goku Black lies unconscious nearby (inferred: the sixth).
  • Whether Frieza’s absorbed power gives Vegito the “weakness” Frieza claimed to know (ep 0070) isn’t said.
  • God of Destruction Goku blames Vegito for losing his family (00:42:55–00:43:05); in ep 0018–0027 it was Cell, carrying Vegito’s DNA, who killed them — consistent with “because of what Vegito had done” (inferred).
