Summary

Gohan’s rage takes him into his Beyond Beast form — wild white hair, a tail, white fur, red-and-black eyes — as Lucif notes his energy differs from Goku’s (ep 0156 00:01:03–00:03:58). Lucif realises this is who killed the demon king Red with Red’s own Demonic Pistol, which only a demon should be able to wield, and says Gohan, with no cardinal sin to his name, was “born for the demon realm… If only, I had chosen you instead!” (ep 0156 00:04:07–00:06:58). Gohan buries Lucif’s position under a barrage of blasts and a Masenko and stands exhausted, but Lucif’s voice says he escaped before the first one (ep 0156 00:07:02–00:11:00). Gohan drops through darkness into a room where Lucif sits on a throne beside an angel holding Krillin’s corpse — “your father’s master”: Whis, who calls Lucif “Lucif-sama” and is called “slave” (ep 0156 00:11:11–00:16:57). In sector 1, Arch Angel Dai tells Vegito he is on his side against Rani, his enemy, and that his power is a slice of the angels who came before, Akobel and Castiel, who he senses are watching and interfering (ep 0156 00:17:08–00:19:00). Rani’s death beam to Dai’s face only scuffs his armour; Dai’s punch to her gut sends her flying, and Vegito hands him the fight with a fist bump — “You’ve got this, Mr. Dai Shinkan” (ep 0156 00:19:41–00:25:31). Dai declares “I am my father’s son. The son of Akobel!”, strips Rani to a one-eyed, armless wreck with beams from cyan diamonds, and says his mother died “The second Lucif discovered his demonic powers” (ep 0156 00:25:59–00:32:20). Her clone’s point-blank blast doesn’t hurt him; holding her, Dai calls down an “Almighty Smite” without moving, and the divine light falls on both of them as Vegito, too late, tries to stop it (ep 0156 00:32:27–00:37:29).
