Summary

Years into the pyramid, a scarred Vegito is found by an aged, battle-worn Black Frieza, who tosses back the beaten mini Vegito and demands Vegito’s full power (ep 0073 00:01:00–00:03:19). Vegito says Frieza has reached a quarter of his power in about two years, but the gap has grown, and sets Goku and Vegeta on him first (ep 0073 00:03:44–00:06:32). Vegeta claims the fight: Goku, he says, is still below 10% of Vegito’s power and stuck in his old ultra form because he alone cannot tap “the power of the demons”; then he turns true demon and beats on a terrified Frieza with half a century of held-in anger (ep 0073 00:07:36–00:12:28). Vegito confirms it to the downcast Goku: he takes far more after Vegeta’s lasting darkness, and Goku could never reach those powers — but for every force there is an opposite, and Vegito also carries “the power of 13 different angels” (ep 0073 00:12:55–00:16:45). Remembering Whis and Merus, Goku flies off alone to find his own path (ep 0073 00:16:55–00:18:09). Outside, Hit names himself to the possessed Jiren, who knows the Tournament of Power only by hearsay; Makoto shrugs off Hit’s blows and kills him three times, but each time another Hit appears — versions “from another timeline” — through “the true power of the time ring” (ep 0073 00:18:48–00:29:13). Hit pulls him into his “time domain”, where he strikes hundreds of times at once, phases through attacks and finally brings “200 real versions” of himself to blast Makoto, whose blood-demon form shows inside Jiren as his life force fades (ep 0073 00:29:22–00:42:31). Outside, nothing has visibly happened, and Hit turns toward the pyramid — but a splash of blood from Jiren’s skin becomes a Makoto-like tail that stabs through Hit’s chest: “Hello new vessel”, while the real Jiren, inside the time ring’s dimension, tries to warn him (ep 0073 00:42:38–00:45:37).
