Aliases & name spellings

  • Frieza (spelling from the ep 0030 title). Transcription variants: “Freeza” (eps 0007, 0012, 0030 ×14, 0031), “freezer”/“Freezer” (eps 0023, 0031). “the Emperor of the Universe” is used of him in Vegeta’s memory (ep 0112 00:40:55–00:41:37). The Planet Vegeta timeline’s “Frost Demon” and the other timelines’ names are on their own pages (see Variants).

Overview

The tyrant emperor of Ultra Vegito’s own timeline, alive in Universe 7. In his hover chair aboard a spaceship he had watched Vegito through an old recruit’s crystal ball, and revealed Black Frieza, a form first reached ten years before in a couple of weeks of training (ep 0069 00:38:51–00:42:45; ep 0070). Calling Vegito “more of a villain than even I am”, and beaten in every exchange, he bought his life with a proposal “of equal value” to the one Vegito once brought him “in the afterlife”: to train together and kill Zeno and the Grand Priest — “always my dream” (ep 0070). He believed himself the chosen one of “the great demon” from writings found on a hidden planet of horned beasts, until Vegito showed his horns (ep 0071), and trained twenty years with Vegito in a Pyramid of Power, becoming Black Demon Frieza (ep 0071–0079). When he slipped away after Light’s defeat, Vegito drained and absorbed him (ep 0085 00:14:20–00:23:09).

Affiliations & relationships

  • Ultra Vegito (own timeline): “Monkey”; beaten, then spared to train with him (ep 0070 00:38:20).
  • His rebuilt army — warriors “abducted, I mean recruited” from many planets, including “an old fellow” who sees anything in the multiverse through a crystal ball (ep 0070 00:13:21–00:13:46).
  • Zeno and the Grand Priest: killing them has been his dream “since the Tournament of Power” (ep 0070 00:36:28–00:36:48).

Abilities / traits

  • Black Frieza (ep 0069) — “for the first time in the Ultra Vegito series”; “first… achieved 10 years ago, from just a couple weeks of training”, and trained for a decade since (ep 0069 00:42:12–00:42:40).
  • Black Frieza bulked “to its max limit” with red eyes (ep 0070 00:09:08–00:09:32); Death Beam, purple Death Saucers, a Death Beam barrage, a Death Ball big enough for a solar system; a strong tail (ep 0070 00:05:09, 00:19:55–00:28:15). From “Namek level strength to… Kakarot’s blue with just a few weeks of training” (Vegito, ep 0070 00:31:45–00:31:56).
  • Black Demon Frieza (ep 0074) — beyond the limit of Black Frieza: several times Vegeta’s size, “akin to his second form”, eyes black with purple pupils, two huge horns; speed that shocks Demon Vegeta; claims he isn’t “even using a percent” of his power (ep 0074 00:15:36–00:19:42, 00:21:33–00:21:39, 00:24:33–00:24:39). Uses his horns to skewer, his tail to strike, and a “black death bead” Death Beam (ep 0074 00:23:56–00:24:17, 00:33:53–00:34:07, 00:36:23–00:36:38).
  • True black demon Frieza (ep 0078) — “an all new form… under his mysterious years of training with Zamasu”, back to his final-form height; stops Jiren’s punches with one finger; breaks through Hit’s time freeze; rips off blood-demon tails (ep 0078 00:02:01–00:02:41, 00:05:52–00:08:24, 00:11:31–00:11:43, 00:17:40–00:18:10). He calls himself “the heir of the great demon, Lucif” (ep 0078 00:03:20).
  • ep 0079: blood-red eyes like Vegito’s — “I will begin using Lucif’s [?] power itself” (ep 0079 00:19:01–00:19:20); a thousand black death beams at once (ep 0079 00:30:22–00:31:27).
