Summary

Facing off, Gogeta says he has mastered both Ultra Instinct and Ultra Ego and combined them into the Ultra form, helped by Vegito’s old tips and by Beerus and Whis; Vegito mocks how much Beerus must have done compared with the one in his timeline, who mostly slept (ep 0032 00:01:06–00:02:51). Beerus calls Vegito a “meddler in time” — a mortal guilty of one of Zeno’s seven cardinal sins — and promises to deal with him once Gogeta is done; Vegito, calling him “Scooby Doo”, vows to kill him again (ep 0032 00:03:13–00:03:58). Vegito masks his energy and dives from the sky; when Beerus tips Gogeta off, Vegito accuses the gods of not fighting fair, and Gogeta — “I’m the god of destruction now!” — tells Beerus to stay out (ep 0032 00:05:14–00:09:03). Gogeta lands a punch and throws energy balls that he steers like Yamcha’s; Vegito absorbs two with his android arm, but Gogeta bear-hugs him, Android 16 style, and piledrives him headfirst into the planet (ep 0032 00:09:21–00:16:12). Vegito pops out unfazed, to Beerus’s alarm; Whis concedes the time meddler may be stronger than they assumed (ep 0032 00:17:19–00:18:39). Going full power — Gogeta can’t stay fused forever — Vegito runs Gogeta’s shoulder through with his God Slayer blade, but Gogeta recalls the third energy ball, which shatters the blade (ep 0032 00:19:35–00:25:15). Vegito strikes back from a time portal — a move Gogeta says they aren’t supposed to be able to do — and says he’ll borrow Gogeta’s trick for the Grand Priest (ep 0032 00:25:32–00:26:58). Evenly matched physically, Gogeta calls for a Kamehameha beam struggle, “like a Saiyan, not an android”; Vegito boasts of infinite energy from his arm and joins in, but Gogeta teleports beneath him mid-charge and blasts him point-blank “into what seemingly is oblivion” (ep 0032 00:27:14–00:30:58).

Uncertainties

  • Gogeta’s line about “Arge’s subscribers” (00:04:41) is a fourth-wall joke inside the story and was kept.
  • The episode ends on a cliffhanger (00:30:58); Vegito survives — apparitions of Quitela, Toppo and Belmod save him (ep 0033 00:02:29–00:07:25).
  • The narration says “the third energy ball Ultra Vegito threw earlier” (00:24:26); it was Gogeta’s — corrected [?].
  • Gogeta “would end up defusing” (00:27:21): so GT Goku and Vegeta are still separate people who fuse to fight (“trained… Both separately and together”, ep 0031 00:21:45); Gogeta defuses into them in ep 0033 00:09:12–00:18:30. That probably explains why Vegito couldn’t sense them on Earth — they were in the Pyramid of Power (inferred).
  • Whether Gogeta’s 40 years in the pyramid were spent fused, and whether the Fusion Dance limit still applies to a God of Destruction, isn’t said.
  • Vegito says “the last time I used a fusion dance, I couldn’t even finish my fight with Beerus” (00:19:49) — referring back to ep 0001 (inferred).
