Summary

Gohan turns Beyond Beast again — black sclera, white fur, a tail and red lightning — though the form still drains him and feels “incomplete”, like Goku’s Super Saiyan 3 (ep 0132 00:01:07–00:04:30). Red senses something he knows in it, sees “The Mark of the Beast” and decides to take Gohan alive to Lucif as a prize, but Gohan dodges his point-blank shots by will alone, rams him through mountains and takes both his pistols (ep 0132 00:04:43–00:13:51). Red insists only a demon can fire a demonic weapon; Gohan pulls the trigger anyway, and a shot ends Red (ep 0132 00:14:18–00:15:29). In the dark, Vegito believes he is dead and makes his peace, trusting Goku and Vegeta to finish Lucif — until Makoto, in his completed blood demon form, appears and tells him he is only in his own mind, taken over by Kenji’s blood while his body rots underground (ep 0132 00:15:49–00:22:18). Makoto’s way out: replace Kenji’s blood with his (ep 0132 00:23:22–00:23:51). In sector 3, the bored Kenji is about to sleep when the burial ground erupts; a blood limb pierces him and Makoto, wearing Vegito’s body, mocks him as an amateur blood demon (ep 0132 00:24:02–00:33:21). Makoto names himself — former fourth of the five strongest, the Grand Priest’s former student, first user of the Red Seraphim — and, when Kenji laughs, cuts him in half with Vegito’s god-slayer blade (ep 0132 00:33:36–00:36:16). Kenji can’t re-form, because Vegito had contaminated his blood in turn; Vegito rises out of it, absorbs him — “You’re not alone anymore… Friend” — and keeps his bargain: a fight with Makoto, face to face in the living world (ep 0132 00:37:13–00:40:45).

  • Whether Red’s pistol really fired in Gohan’s hand isn’t shown — only “a gunshot” and darkness for Red (00:15:10–00:15:26); the narration hints Gohan’s beast form may not be wholly mortal (00:15:29).
  • Makoto escaped into the living world through Vegito’s body (00:29:02–00:29:57); how he and Vegito came apart again by the end (00:40:20–00:40:24) isn’t shown.
  • Makoto’s “First user of the Red Seraphim” (00:33:48) suggests he is the dark figure with Vegito’s eyes from the end of ep 0128 (inferred).
  • “a deal with the devil” (00:23:39–00:23:51) is the narration’s phrase for Makoto’s offer, not a mention of Lucif.
