Summary

A short recap retells Beerus’s death, the decade-long imprisonment, Whis’s sacrifice and the god-killer vow (ep 0005 00:00:12–00:00:39). In the first weeks Vegito still hopes for rescue, then breaks down as he accepts this is his life (ep 0005 00:01:37–00:02:47). He notes he hasn’t eaten or drunk for weeks and feels nothing, and guesses the chains’ magic is both stopping him from dying and keeping him fused (ep 0005 00:02:47–00:03:05). He closes his eyes to do something like the mental training Goku and Piccolo practise (ep 0005 00:03:10–00:03:50). Inside his mind, Vegeta and Goku argue: Vegeta blames Goku and the fusion idea, Goku says they’d have been erased anyway and blames Vegeta’s inexperience with Ultra Ego for killing Beerus (ep 0005 00:04:05–00:05:41). Vegeta retorts that his Ultra Ego is almost complete while Goku still trains daily with Whis (ep 0005 00:05:51–00:06:22). Goku calmly concedes Vegeta is the genius, then enters mastered Ultra Instinct and proposes the all-out fight they never finished because of Buu (ep 0005 00:06:42–00:07:36). Vegeta enters Ultra Ego and accepts; since it’s all in their heads, neither can die (ep 0005 00:07:40–00:08:25). They fight non-stop in Vegito’s mind for over ten years, and the Zenkai boosts and training produce a fused Vegito of unimaginable power, “the strongest god in history”, made in the gods’ own custody (ep 0005 00:09:14–00:09:54).

Key events

  • 00:01:26 The chains are “God Realm chains”.
  • 00:01:47 Narration refers to the “main timeline”, where he’d been rescued from such situations before.
  • 00:02:47 Vegito wishes he could die, but the chains won’t allow it.
  • 00:02:54 Weeks without food or water and he feels nothing; he guesses the same magic keeps him fused.
  • 00:03:17 He begins mental training, the kind Goku and Piccolo do.
  • 00:04:05 Inside his mind: Vegeta and Goku as separate people.
  • 00:04:23 Goku is hurt that Zeno (“Zen-chan”) treated him like that; he thought they were friends.
  • 00:04:45 Vegeta recalls Zeno once erased his son’s entire universe (the future timeline) (inferred: “my son” = Future Trunks).
  • 00:05:19 Goku: refusing Beerus would have got them erased anyway.
  • 00:05:28 Goku blames Vegeta’s inexperience with Ultra Ego for Beerus’s death; says his Ultra Instinct would have kept control.
  • 00:06:01 Vegeta: his Ultra Ego is nearly complete; Beerus no longer trains him, while Goku still trains with Whis daily.
  • 00:07:13 Goku enters mastered Ultra Instinct at will.
  • 00:07:20 Their last real fight was cut short by Buu.
  • 00:07:40 Vegeta enters Ultra Ego.
  • 00:08:07 Goku: in their minds neither of them can die; he’ll go harder than he did against Moro.
  • 00:08:46 Beam clash — Vegeta’s Ultra Galick Gun against Goku’s Kamehameha.
  • 00:09:14 The fighting goes on for over 10 years; Zenkai boosts compound.
  • 00:09:40 A fused Vegito of unbelievable power results; electricity crackles around him.
  • 00:09:51 Narration: Ultra Vegito, “the strongest god in history”, was made in the gods’ own custody.

Uncertainties

  • Liquiir and Korn do not appear here), and the outro 00:10:02–end. The “story so far” recap 00:00:12–00:00:39 was kept as story.
  • “Licker” 00:00:50 = Liquiir (spelling from the ep 0006 title in the manifest); Korn is Liquiir’s angel (ep 0006 00:20:23); Liquiir is Universe 8’s god (ep 0007 00:01:51). Both are named here only in the trimmed preview; they enter the story in ep 0006.
  • 00:03:28–00:03:43: Vegito’s actual thought is missing from the transcript (silence/music).
  • 00:04:20 Goku says “beats me, Vegito” = “Vegeta” (he’s replying to Vegeta in the mind space); likewise “Vegito instantly reacts” 00:04:32 = Vegeta.
  • 00:08:46 “Ultra-organic gun” = Ultra Galick Gun.
  • 00:09:23 “though Vegeta himself could not break out” — probably “Vegito” (inferred; marked [?]).
  • 00:02:23 (“plot armor”) and 00:09:34 (“us viewers”) are narrator asides inside the story; kept.
  • “Vegeta 2 enters” 00:07:40 = “Vegeta too”.
