Summary

Vegito asks Vegeta who he really is; behind the prince, only Vegito sees Lucif laughing — “Lucif speaking through Vegeta” charges Dai alone: “I’ve been waiting for millenia to kill this brat!” (ep 0096 00:01:25–00:03:45). Dai, getting used to his final form, doesn’t even flinch at Vegeta’s blows; he says he is far stronger now than when he last sealed his brother away, and his gaze alone paralyses Vegeta and blasts him from behind (ep 0096 00:04:15–00:07:27). Lucif opens a third demon eye on Vegeta’s forehead and says that even this “imperfect vessel” draws only fractions of his power; Dai calls him “a total disgrace to all of Angelkind” whom “Mother” has always been blind to (ep 0096 00:08:49–00:13:26). Vegito joins with a Godslayer scythe shaped after Goku Black’s influence; Dai dodges, and his white orb melts Vegeta’s arm away (ep 0096 00:14:08–00:19:43). Lucif-Vegeta then blasts Dai and Vegito alike with an arm cannon (ep 0096 00:20:20–00:21:55). Dai turns into a divine beast of energy and smashes through Vegeta’s horned shield, leaving the prince with both arms gone (ep 0096 00:22:24–00:27:22). Vegito, high above, readies a demonic black Spirit Bomb to wipe out Zeno and his realm, but Dai winds him with one blow and absorbs the whole ball through the diamond on his forehead: “The energy of the devil began as an angel and back to an angel it shall return” (ep 0096 00:28:48–00:33:10). Vegeta regrows his arms, tears a horn from his forehead and makes it a sword, but Dai’s “smite” erases it, and a blast from Dai’s chest hits them both (ep 0096 00:34:03–00:39:25). Inside Vegeta’s mind Lucif tempts him: he alone, a Saiyan elite, can unleash Lucif’s full power and “bring everyone back”; picturing his late wife and children, Vegeta gives in and goes further than Vegito into a devil form, his torso black and a red circle burning on his chest (ep 0096 00:40:26–00:44:19). Vegito: “you’re dooming us all!” (ep 0096 00:44:36). Meanwhile Goku, beaten by G.T., ascends: he stops G.T.’s stomp without budging, a cyan symbol now on his forehead like Dai’s and G.T.’s (ep 0096 00:44:50–00:46:29).

Uncertainties

  • From 00:25:08 the transcript runs on in lowercase; “die”, “vegeto” and “lucy’s” there are read as Dai, Vegito and Lucif’s.
  • “Mother” (00:13:08) is heard clearly; who she is isn’t said here — she is Rani, the mother of all angels, whom Dai calls “My mother” (ep 0149 00:33:55–00:34:00). That Lucif was once an angel, suggested here by “disgrace to all of Angelkind” and “began as an angel”, is confirmed when Kazuya calls him a banished fallen angel (ep 0138 00:04:00–00:04:53).
  • Several narration lines swap Vegito and Vegeta; read from context at 00:02:23, 00:07:47, 00:09:16, 00:17:17, 00:43:03, 00:43:50 (likely).
  • “back in his normal form” (00:27:56) presumably means Dai’s final form again, after the beast (inferred).
  • The cyan symbol on Goku’s forehead matches the “second level of seraphim” sign Dai and G.T. showed (ep 0090 00:06:31–00:08:41) (inferred; not named here).
