Summary

Goku, now at the second stage of Seraphim, resolves not to fall behind or let Vegeta be lost to the darkness, while Lucif, through Vegeta, mocks Dai for claiming only he could teach that stage (ep 0097 00:01:28–00:03:44). Dai recognises the symbol burning on Vegeta’s chest: the timer to Lucif’s return “is officially in its final hour” (ep 0097 00:04:41–00:05:10). Lucif calls it a “family reunion”, rains black lightning on Dai and, disguised as a bolt, kicks him in the stomach (ep 0097 00:06:33–00:11:18). Goku outclasses G.T.: a punch, a slap, a God Bind and a flick to the forehead, until G.T. breaks free and looses homing beams (ep 0097 00:12:06–00:21:51). Zeno, watching, starts cheering for Dai (ep 0097 00:22:36–00:23:14). Dai pins Vegeta in an arm lock and drains Lucif’s energy by touch through his forehead diamond; Lucif panics until Vegito kicks Dai away (ep 0097 00:23:44–00:26:31). The darkness has left Vegeta’s right side — he is himself again — but Dai now has a red Seraphim right eye and black lightning, turning the devil’s power back into divine energy: “How delicious dear brother” (ep 0097 00:27:12–00:30:05). Vegito vows to find a way to steal power back (ep 0097 00:30:42–00:30:47). G.T.’s beams engulf Goku, but his wings shield him; he blinds G.T. with “Solar Wings”, strikes with the “Ultra Dragon Fist” and finishes him with Gogeta’s Meteor Explosion (ep 0097 00:31:03–00:41:50). Broken, G.T. says he now sees what Zeno sees in Goku (ep 0097 00:42:16). Then Vegito stands over him, grinning: “Vegeta, I think I just found our plan B!” (ep 0097 00:42:43–00:43:09).

Key events

  • 00:06:33–00:06:51 Lucif: “our long awaited family reunion would be a beautiful moment”.
  • 00:07:22–00:10:07 Storm clouds; black lightning bolts hunt Dai; he dodges them all.

  • 00:11:18 Lucif: “This reunion has only just begun!”
  • 00:12:06–00:13:42 Goku’s punch sends G.T. flying; G.T., both wings out: “How are you doing this?”
  • 00:14:11–00:14:31 Goku: “The second stage of Seraphim… not just like going from Super Saiyan, to Super Saiyan 2… on a whole other level.”
  • 00:16:12–00:17:33 Goku’s palm squashes G.T.’s cheek; “You’re pretty delicate these days”.
  • 00:17:42–00:18:15 Goku’s God Bind, as in the Broly movie, freezes G.T.
  • 00:18:50–00:19:34 A finger flick to G.T.’s forehead; G.T.: “Son Goku!” — “You said my name!”
  • 00:20:10–00:20:28 G.T. breaks the God Bind by force.
  • 00:21:08–00:21:51 His aura splits into homing beams; Goku: “I want a little practice before Dai.”

  • 00:23:44–00:24:06 Dai arm-locks Vegeta face-down.
  • 00:24:17–00:24:57 The forehead diamond drains Vegeta’s devil energy by touch alone.
  • 00:25:18–00:25:33 Lucif: “Get up you damn ape!… the more of my precious energy he consumes!… Help me!”

  • 00:28:54–00:29:29 Dai’s right eye turns into a red Seraphim eye; black lightning crackles round him.
  • 00:29:38–00:29:49 He converts “the power of the fallen angel… Known as the devil… Back into divine energy”.
  • 00:29:55–00:30:05 Dai: “How delicious dear brother… This is the power that drove you to madness… I… Don’t blame you”.

  • 00:31:31–00:32:17 Surrounded by beams, Goku is hit by all of them; Vegito: “Kakarot!”
  • 00:32:47–00:33:13 G.T.: painting a Seraphim triangle on your forehead can’t match “the real deal”.
  • 00:33:38–00:34:05 Goku is unhurt, wrapped in his wings: “The only one misguided… Are you and the rest of the gods”.
  • 00:34:30–00:35:16 G.T.: “You… Cannot be allowed to exist”; he charges to stop more mortals rising.

  • 00:41:40–00:42:16 G.T. crashes down, defeated: “Son Goku, I see now what Lord Zeno sees in you.”
  • 00:42:43–00:43:09 Vegito, “like a drooling hyena”: “Seems we haven’t been introduced yet, GT!… Vegeta, I think I just found our plan B!”

Uncertainties

  • “Plan B” is not spelled out; Vegito’s vow to steal power back (00:30:44) and his grin over the beaten G.T. suggest absorbing him (inferred) — which he does next episode (ep 0098 00:42:19).
  • Zeno’s cheering for Dai is the narration’s reading: “shift his loyalties to his longtime angel attendant” (00:23:14).
  • “Die…” at 00:30:08, after Dai’s “I… Don’t blame you”, is kept as the word; it could be the name.
  • 00:38:51 “Like Dai… Loses half of his head” — the punch lands on G.T.
