Summary
Vegito greets Zeno’s guard as a “slave of Zeno”; the angels Campari and Awamo — “older brothers” of Whis, who taught him first — tell him he is stained with “the cardinal sins of murdering our brethren” (ep 0061 00:00:46–00:05:18). His blast at all four is stopped by the guard’s red energy barrier; the guard orders the three to stay inside it — his mission from Zeno is to keep them alive — and walks out to fight alone, since Zeno “is looking for a good show” (ep 0061 00:05:18–00:10:08). Vegito realises Zeno has been watching him all along; the guard names himself Z, First of the Royal Guard, Zeno’s creation, and says Vegito’s ten years have been “some of the greatest fun, The young king has seen” (ep 0061 00:10:30–00:12:57). Enraged, Vegito goes to his final ultra form, horn and all, but Z’s uppercut throws him out of orbit, an axe kick slams him back, and Z lands on his spine (ep 0061 00:13:14–00:21:56). In Ultra Ego Vegito hits Z’s cheek, to no effect, and is kicked through three mountains into the barrier (ep 0061 00:22:12–00:26:53). His completed demonic form trades blows with Z, but a knee ruptures his organs; Z says Vegito isn’t even stronger than the fourth of the five, the five are just deities Zeno “selected” — the Grand Priest was one until Zeno removed him — and Z and his brother are far beyond them (ep 0061 00:28:27–00:37:15). Vegito despairs; inside him Goku suggests Yamoshi’s Super Saiyan God form with Kaioken, but Vegito refuses: as Yamoshi explains, the true form would make him a god (ep 0061 00:37:46–00:41:55). Vegito tells Goku and Vegeta of his years chained, his own consciousness waking only after the fifth year, and that one day he will disappear and they will be free — he will not become a god (ep 0061 00:41:55–00:44:17). Instead, eyes blackened, he gives up his mortality: black fur, a shawl of fur, beastly hands, larger horns, purple eyes and a spreading cheek mark — “True demon Vegito is born” (ep 0061 00:44:33–00:47:44).
