Summary

The newcomer from the pyramid is the GT timeline’s Gogeta, now horned and carrying both a Seraphim eye and a demon eye (ep 0083 00:01:00–00:01:26). He tells the stunned Saiyans that Vegito called him into the pyramid with the destroyers’ summoning button Gogeta had given him, and that the two have trained together for years; Vegito even taught him the basics of the Seraphim by watching Goku (ep 0083 00:06:30–00:08:39). His horns, he explains, come from killing his timeline’s Beerus — but as one God of Destruction against another, which the realm allows, so he went unpunished; when he gave up the title his mortality returned, horns included, and the narration names the GT timeline’s new destroyer as Majuub (as heard “Mar Ju”) (ep 0083 00:09:20–00:12:29). Broly confirms that destroyers may kill one another (ep 0083 00:12:50–00:13:03). Gogeta then transforms into what he calls the first half-Seraphim, half-demon in history: a black-furred demon side with black lightning and a white-furred Seraphim side with white lightning (ep 0083 00:14:24–00:16:14). Dark wonders aloud whether this is a “Nephilim” and decides it isn’t (ep 0083 00:18:04–00:19:31). The fight swings back and forth — Dark entombs Gogeta in telekinetic boulders, Gogeta blasts free with Meteor Explosion, Dark hides in a sphere of dark tentacles — until Gogeta recognises Dark’s energy as pure negative energy, like Janemba’s, and answers with the Stardust Breaker (ep 0083 00:22:38–00:32:23). The Stardust Breaker eats through Dark’s own attack and is about to erase him when the fusion runs out, leaving GT Goku and Vegeta in base form (ep 0083 00:33:55–00:37:37). Enraged, Dark rushes the pair — and a purple beam from nowhere punches through his torso: Ultra Vegito has come out of the pyramid, black-haired, with blood-red eyes and blood-red lightning (ep 0083 00:38:15–00:41:10).

  • Several “Vegeta” lines are read as Vegito (likely): “Vegito got that strong” (00:05:25), “the Vegito of your timeline killed Beerus” (00:10:38) and “Just like Vegito’s” (00:17:03).
  • How Gogeta’s killing of Beerus fits ep 0034, where Vegito drained Beerus — “no destroyer anymore” — and Goku and Vegeta shed their destroyer garb, is logged in retcons.
  • Gogeta says he gave Vegito the button “when he first stumbled into my timeline”; ep 0034 shows it handed over on Vegito’s second visit.
