Overview
The oldest and strongest of the Elder Gods, makers of whole multiverses, and their leader; the father of Akobel and Castiel (ep 0186 00:03:09–00:03:32; ep 0187 00:30:12–00:30:17; ep 0188 00:01:47–00:03:42). Furious that Akobel and Chronoa meddled in Hera’s multiverse, he comes for Akobel in his prime form, then approves the Elder Gods’ plan for a tournament of creations to choose his successor — entering his own fighters, and promising to destroy the rule-breakers if they lose (ep 0185 00:06:13–00:08:41; ep 0187 00:29:06–00:37:31). He presides over the Tournament of Elders from his balcony (ep 0206 00:24:08–00:30:20).
As of his last appearance (ep 0261): eliminated from the tournament (ep 0259 00:10:32–00:10:49), he has gone into hell with his fighter Genesis to destroy the devils “misbehaving” there (ep 0259 00:23:29–00:24:37). Two princes of hell pin him down, and Ultra Vegito, in his Devil Gene form, stands over him and declares for the princes (ep 0261 00:38:53–00:41:31).

- Ares: his rival for the leadership since their youth (ep 0227 00:18:20–00:18:58).

Abilities / traits
- Huge and muscular; old in his normal state (ep 0185 00:06:13–00:06:32). Probably the bearded, black-eyed god of ep 0159 (inferred: the next speaker answers that god as “Zeus”, ep 0159 00:13:06–00:13:45).
- His rage alone cracks his hall and erases his two butlers (ep 0185 00:06:51–00:08:41); Akobel senses it from another realm (ep 0185 00:08:56–00:09:05).
- Prime Zeus: a young “battle form of legend” in which he descends like a giant yellow star, wrapped in yellow lightning, twice Castiel’s height (ep 0186 00:31:49–00:34:32; ep 0188 00:02:30–00:03:15).
- Values his creations over raw power — “the mark of a good god is not in his power but the quality of his creations” (ep 0187 00:36:49).
- Has long waited for a successor (ep 0187 00:35:26–00:35:37).
- Yellow lightning is his signature; part of his prime power was stored in Genesis and taken from him by Ultra Vegito (ep 0218 00:04:30–00:04:56; ep 0244 00:11:12–00:11:58).
- Weaker than in his youth, says a prince of hell, and Zeus doesn’t deny it (ep 0260 00:32:15–00:32:45).
- Strict about his rules: no killing outside the arena, no interference by the gods, no underworld powers (ep 0235 00:04:28–00:04:52; ep 0246 00:19:50–00:20:36; ep 0259 00:09:26–00:09:45).
Variants
- No other version appears. Prime Zeus is a form of the same Zeus (see Abilities / traits).
Status
- Alive but pinned down in hell by two princes, with Ultra Vegito siding against him (ep 0261 00:38:53–00:41:31); eliminated from the tournament (ep 0259 00:10:41).

Open questions
- Is the bearded, black-sclera god of ep 0159 Zeus? Very likely (he is answered as “Zeus”, ep 0159 00:13:45), but the scene never labels him.
- What will the princes of hell do with him? Not shown yet (ep 0261 00:39:01–00:39:28).
