Summary

The possessed Ardos — taken over, the narration says, by his own mother — blasts his own teammate Talos through the chest and starts another Queen’s Erasure, but Prime Zeus grabs his wrist (ep 0259 00:00:55–00:04:53). Zeus calls her the Queen of hell and his “old flame”; she says hell has changed since he knew it, yet gives “our son” back after Zeus’s prime lightning floors him (ep 0259 00:05:01–00:08:24). Zeus recalls Talos with a bolt and rules that Ardos used powers “from the forbidden underworld”: the match is forfeit and Hera wins the round, which eliminates Zeus himself (ep 0259 00:08:33–00:10:49). Only the finals remain, to be held somewhere else, and the remaining Elder Gods — Hera, Chronoa, Akobel and Castiel — are told to expect the unexpected (ep 0259 00:10:12–00:11:10). Hera realises he is in the lead; Chronoa mockingly thanks him for removing Zeus (ep 0259 00:11:48–00:13:00). Ares warns that this was an attack from hell: the Devil Genes resemble those he and Zeus locked away there, fully fledged devils are the only natural enemy of the Elder Gods, and Hera, “The weakest among us all”, somehow has the strongest creations (ep 0259 00:13:24–00:16:44). Akobel scoffs and promises to deal with hell once he leads; Chronoa agrees the tournament goes on, Hera insists his creations’ power is his own, and Castiel, outvoted, goes along (ep 0259 00:16:47–00:18:57). Zeus frees Genesis, chains the unconscious Ardos in his place as the greater threat, leaves a clone on guard, and takes Genesis — who holds half of Zeus’s power — to hell (ep 0259 00:19:26–00:25:16). In hell Zeus swats three horned devils, but a regal prince of hell pins Genesis with crushing gravity and blocks Zeus’s strike with ease (ep 0259 00:26:02–00:34:50). As the two devils lunge at Genesis, Ultra Vegito bursts out and kicks them both away: he never really left Genesis’s body (ep 0259 00:35:07–00:37:18).

Uncertainties

  • Ardos’s mother is named only as the “Queen of hell”; the narration’s “revealed apparently” (00:01:18) leaves a little doubt.
  • The regal prince is not the two-Seraphim prince of ep 0256: in ep 0261 the regal prince, Tyron (as heard), and the blindfolded prince with White and Black Seraphim appear side by side (ep 0261 00:33:10–00:33:57).
  • When Vegito says he never left “your body” (00:36:30), he seems to address Genesis, in whom he hid from ep 0215 (inferred).
  • Talos’s condition after Zeus retrieves him is not shown.
  • Some lines are transcribed twice (00:25:09–00:25:16, 00:32:20–00:32:47).
