Summary

God-killer Gogeta, now the Stardust Devil, says Gogito’s Black Seraphim power is pure darkness — or was gained through evil — and asks what Gogito did to “our loved ones” to get those eyes, which visibly stings Gogito (ep 0249 00:01:39–00:04:24). Gogeta says he gave up his devil power, including 50 demon emperors, to become the Stardust Devil just to beat Gogito (ep 0249 00:05:02–00:06:22). He saws through the Black Seraphim shield with a small Stardust Breaker, smashes a stack of shields, destroys seven homing black orbs, blinds Gogito with a stardust flash and makes him bleed for the first time (ep 0249 00:07:09–00:20:05). Gogito, calm, then shows he can make Stardust Breaker energy too — a planet-sized “energy bomb”, “an actual star”, that leaves the Stardust Devil unconscious in base form; Gogito spares him as a teammate and declares himself leader (ep 0249 00:20:29–00:27:56). Ultra Vegito then appears, his training apparently over, and says that as Hera’s creation he can come and go in Hera’s realm (ep 0249 00:28:43–00:30:10). Calling himself a collector of Seraphim eyes, he flashes cyan, red, purple, yellow (Ikari) and green Seraphim, and offers to show how he got them in return for the Black Seraphim (ep 0249 00:30:43–00:32:20). Gogito says Hera called Vegito a bigger thief than himself and agrees to a spar without his shields (ep 0249 00:32:33–00:34:40). In base form Vegito keeps up and lands blows; Gogito’s black spirit bomb explodes on him, but Vegito stands in the smoke behind a fleshy devil wing — “A little devil gene and a little bit of Prime Zeus’ energy” — with purple lightning trailing from black-and-purple Seraphim eyes (ep 0249 00:34:47–00:41:17).

Key events

  • 00:01:39–00:01:58 Gogeta: Gogito’s energy is “pure darkness itself”.
  • 00:02:07–00:02:34 Gogito recalls using the Stardust Breaker against Janemba “so long ago” (name heard “Je… Nemba”).
  • 00:03:48–00:03:57 Gogeta: “What did you do… To our loved ones… To gain this power?”
  • 00:05:04–00:05:26 Gogeta gave up the power of 50 demon emperors to beat Gogito.
  • 00:07:09–00:07:46 A fingertip Stardust Breaker cuts open the Black Seraphim shield; Gogito says not even Hera managed that (00:09:09–00:09:14).
  • 00:14:16–00:17:39 Seven homing black orbs, burned away by the Stardust aura.
  • 00:18:15–00:19:26 A stardust flash blinds Gogito; he takes a punch and bleeds.
  • 00:20:42 Gogito had thought the White Seraphim would be the first thing to make him bleed.
  • 00:21:12–00:24:24 Gogito: unlike the White Seraphim, the Stardust Breaker is something he can do too; “Meet… An actual star!”
  • 00:26:33–00:26:43 The Stardust Devil is beaten, back in base.
  • 00:27:33–00:27:39 Gogito: “I’m not in the business of killing my teammates… now… That I am the leader.”
  • 00:29:49–00:29:57 Vegito: “I’m his creation, remember?” — he can enter Hera’s realm.
  • 00:30:49 “I’m somewhat a collector of those eyes”.
  • 00:31:09–00:31:27 Five Seraphim: angelic cyan, demonic red, destructive purple, Ikari yellow, Saiyan-exclusive green.
  • 00:32:36–00:32:39 Gogito: Hera called Vegito a thief “Beyond even me”.
  • 00:33:09 Vegito: “I am half of you, Gogito”.
  • 00:35:41–00:37:51 In base, Vegito trades hits with Gogito.
  • 00:39:46–00:40:12 Vegito survives the black spirit bomb behind a devil wing: “A little devil gene… And a little bit of Prime Zeus’ energy”.
  • 00:40:36–00:41:03 Narration: he has mastered his Devil Gene and combined it with Prime Zeus energy — purple lightning from his eyes and a black-and-purple Seraphim.

Characters appearing

  • Gogito · god-killer Gogeta (Hera’s; defeated) · Ultra Vegito
  • Mentioned: Hera · Janemba · the Omni King’s son (“omni-brat”, the White Seraphim user) (inferred) · Vegeta (who mastered Prime Zeus energy, ep 0246)

Threads

Uncertainties

  • Both fusions are heard as “Gogeta” through the first half, and the narration once names the Stardust Devil “Gogito” (00:04:59–00:05:51); who says what is taken from context (inferred).
  • “Omni-brat” with the White Seraphim (00:32:04) is probably Omni Vegito, whom Gogito calls white to his black (ep 0222) (inferred).
  • Which Seraphim is Vegito’s own and which came from others is not said here.
  • Who Gogito mistakes for a “recruit” at 00:28:28 before Vegito appears is unclear; it seems to be Vegito himself (inferred).
