Summary

Ultra Vegito asks Poseidon to let him reach his full Devil Gene; Poseidon scoffs that the real Devil Gene users are seven beings from hell who could frighten an Elder God, then agrees (ep 0253 00:01:45–00:03:29). Vegito transforms fully for the first time — bigger, two horns, white hair, a glowing red third eye and two hand-like wings — and the sea around them rises in tornadoes as if greeting a new master (ep 0253 00:04:27–00:08:08). Poseidon blocks his first punch with a trembling arm and rates his Devil Gene above Ardos’s (ep 0253 00:10:13–00:11:41). Vegito smashes Poseidon into the sea; Poseidon’s pressurised water beams batter him until a sphere of dark energy breaks them, while Poseidon privately wonders whether this mortal could one day stand against Zeus (ep 0253 00:13:17–00:18:54). Vegito’s next kick bends Poseidon double and sends him into a mountain; Vegito says he is the product of the games of Hera, Chronoa, Akobel and Zeus (ep 0253 00:19:15–00:22:22). His visor cracked, Poseidon removes it for the first time and transforms into a shark-like form, calls up his Elder Hieroglyph — a black trident — and a storm of water bombs (ep 0253 00:22:50–00:24:41). Vegito turns his whole Devil Gene body into Zeus-Prime lightning and weaves through them, but Poseidon catches him anyway with a cyan trident and pins him to a mountain, saying the real Prime Zeus made even the seven cower (ep 0253 00:25:25–00:29:27). In Round 12, Wukong uses his 72 transformations — a black dragon that a heavenly light revives after Gogito fells it, then a tiger whose claws crack the Black Seraphim shield further than Hera ever did (ep 0253 00:30:39–00:36:46). Gogito punches out of his own shield, throws Wukong into the open Black Seraphim sphere and crushes it to the size of an atom, ending the match (ep 0253 00:37:02–00:39:36). Wukong wakes in a dark realm, where Son Gohan — one of the sons Gogito supposedly killed — greets him: “looks like dad is still up to his old tricks” (ep 0253 00:40:11–00:41:11).

Key events

  • 00:02:45–00:03:08 Poseidon: real Devil Gene users are “Seven users that would actually strike fear into an Elder God… from hell.”
  • 00:05:18–00:05:47 The completed Devil Gene: growth, two horns, white hair, third red eye, two wings.
  • 00:06:56–00:07:08 “the true completed devil gene form of the god killer”, awaited since he met Kazuya.
  • 00:07:54–00:08:08 The sea’s tornadoes react to Vegito as if he were their master.
  • 00:11:32 Poseidon: “more impressive than Ardos’s at least.”
  • 00:18:39–00:18:54 Poseidon (thinking): can he “really stand against Zeus one day?”
  • 00:21:55–00:22:16 Vegito: Hera, Chronoa, Akobel and Zeus made him the monster he is.
  • 00:23:10–00:23:43 Poseidon removes his visor: a shark’s eye, gills, black-and-white eyes, jagged teeth.
  • 00:23:51–00:24:04 Poseidon’s Elder Hieroglyph: a black three-pronged trident.
  • 00:25:25–00:25:53 “Devil gene mixed with prime energy!” — his whole body becomes lightning.
  • 00:27:47–00:28:30 Poseidon’s trident catches him and pins him to a mountain.
  • 00:29:18: “the real Prime Zeus made even those seven cower in fear.”
  • 00:31:35–00:31:44 Wukong’s 72 transformations: a giant black dragon with flaming whiskers.
  • 00:33:56–00:34:06 The heavenly light revives the felled dragon.
  • 00:35:35–00:36:46 Tiger form; Gogito: “He’s getting further than Hera did.”
  • 00:38:37–00:39:19 Gogito crushes Wukong inside the Black Seraphim sphere “now a lone atom”; “Play nice with my boys while you’re down there.”
  • 00:40:40–00:41:03 Son Gohan, a son of Gogito, is trapped in the same abyss.

Uncertainties

  • The “seven” Devil Gene users from hell are probably the seven princes of hell (ep 0225) (inferred).
  • Poseidon’s new form is likened to one “Coral once showcased” (00:28:42) — Akobel’s Prince Coral’s shark-like form (ep 0231) (inferred); the form’s name is garbled (“Samahata”).
  • Vegito’s line “Immortality. Then there’s only one option to win here.” (00:29:51–00:29:53) is unclear.
  • The match’s end is announced by Gogito himself; no Elder God’s call is heard (00:39:29–00:39:49).
  • The Gohan in the dark realm calls Gogito “dad” and is one of his “so called sons… who he had supposedly killed” (00:40:40–00:41:03); whether the others are there too is not shown.
  • Vegito looking at the audience and naming ARJ (00:04:04–00:04:16) is a fourth-wall joke.
