Summary

Zeus sets out the rules of Round 1, Stage 1: there are none — every power, form and ability is allowed, killing is allowed, every team will meet every other, and a team left with fewer than three living members is disqualified (ep 0207 00:01:26–00:03:54). His lightning bolt starts the fight (ep 0207 00:04:00–00:05:05). Akuma opens with a huge Hadoken, which Omni Vegito’s team rides out; Kratos hurls the Blades of Chaos into the smoke, and Jiren bursts from the ground to trade blows with him, both powering up (ep 0207 00:05:50–00:12:37). Goten, as a Super Saiyan God, toys with Asura until Asura sprouts four more arms and smashes him down; Goten answers with Tien’s multi-arm technique (ep 0207 00:12:42–00:19:39). Omni Vegito turns Akuma’s punches aside by breaking into cubes, then shatters his armour with one blow (ep 0207 00:20:09–00:24:51). The Doom Slayer attacks with a blade made for cutting demons; Vegito, unable to sense his power, has to dodge (ep 0207 00:25:00–00:27:40). Akuma transforms beyond the Satsui no Hado — blue skin, white hair, a divine energy (ep 0207 00:28:21–00:29:58). Hemmed in, Omni Vegito switches to his Omni Devil eyes, and the devil within terrifies Akuma into a skidding stop (ep 0207 00:31:24–00:33:31). His finishing punch is stopped by a pitch-black, green-eyed figure who takes it without a word: Zeus’s first fighter, who has come for “the god killer” (ep 0207 00:34:34–00:36:42).

Uncertainties

  • 00:35:51–00:36:16 repeats 00:35:33–00:35:49 almost word for word.
  • Which “god killer” the black figure wants isn’t said; Ultra Vegito (inferred: he is usually “the god killer”).
  • 00:18:22 Asura’s “I’ll kill kids, so I’ll give you one chance” may be “I don’t kill kids”.
