Summary

Inside Vegito, Kazuya explains why the Elder Gods cared about the fight between two devils: they wanted to see whether Vegito or Lucif would complete a full Devil transformation, and before either could, one Elder God made Lucif an Archangel and the other took away Vegito’s use of it (ep 0225 00:02:40–00:03:47). Goku Black, also inside, resents being passed over — “I am the original god killer!” (ep 0225 00:04:10–00:04:45). Kazuya says the full Devil form can’t be taught from inside, and names a price; Vegito accepts just as Chronoa fires a blood-red infinity-shaped time attack (ep 0225 00:05:01–00:09:17). Kazuya steps out of Vegito for the first time, slaps the attack away, and takes his full devil form (ep 0225 00:09:36–00:11:45). Vegito reads Chronoa’s face: Ardos has the Devil Gene too, which is why Zeus treats him differently from Akobel and Castiel (ep 0225 00:12:12–00:12:48). He tells her he will win his way, demanding his freedom and a wish: his multiverse back with “Mortals only. And all gods removed”; his five fighters — Kazuya, Cumber, Goku, Shallot and Vegeta — stand ready to die with him (ep 0225 00:12:55–00:14:43). Chronoa relents with a threat and leaves with Whis; Vegito sends Goku and Vegeta to train the brothers and goes with Kazuya to learn the completed Devil form (ep 0225 00:15:17–00:19:42). Akobel opens a door on three hidden fighters — Shiva, Prince Korrel and the golden-armoured Omad (names as heard) — who has been sparring with Lucif; Akobel will train both and bring out “the devils within you” (ep 0225 00:20:27–00:32:13). In a hellish realm, Hades kneels before Demigra, one of the seven princes of hell: Vegito destroyed his team, so Demigra will enter the tournament himself (ep 0225 00:32:23–00:36:51).

Uncertainties

  • Kazuya’s price (00:09:29 “They asked to be free!”) is inferred to be his freedom from Vegito’s body.
  • Which Elder God did what to whom is Kazuya’s account; that Akobel made Lucif an Archangel and Chronoa held Vegito back is inferred from earlier episodes.
  • Goro is not among the five; his fate after giving his power away (ep 0224) isn’t said.
  • Names Shiva, Korrel and Omad (also heard “O-Man”) are as heard. Omad has “devils within” him too (00:31:43–00:31:48).
  • Demigra’s form name (00:35:57) is heard as “Vegeta”; this may be a mishearing.
  • That Demigra is the spiky-haired watcher of ep 0212 is from the narration (00:33:09–00:33:18).
