Summary

Hera’s god-killer Gohan is shaken to see Vegito in Beyond Beast; Vegito, addressing him through the portal, opens his mouth to show that Gohan, Bardock, Goten and Trunks are all still inside him, still feeding him power (ep 0220 00:01:19–00:04:09). Omni Vegito vows to be the one to end him; god-killer Goku is impressed by his fusing and wonders about finding “a Buu to fuse with” (ep 0220 00:04:47–00:06:05). King’s wolf-form barrage lands a blow, and his energy eruption from the sea leaves Vegito unhurt — “It feels like I’m fighting Vegeta” (ep 0220 00:07:28–00:11:54). Six Vegito clones strike, but King picks out the real one with his tail and drags him to the depths, where Vegito escapes with Gotenks’s ghost kamikaze attack (ep 0220 00:13:38–00:17:41). King powers up into a golden, green-eyed state like Super Saiyan, saying the volgar have no named forms — they simply grow as needed — and he tears through Vegito’s body and blasts him (ep 0220 00:19:22–00:25:18). Vegito, apparently beaten, was acting: a black pigment spreads over his fur, he grows two horns and tribal markings, and his infinity eye returns (ep 0220 00:28:40–00:31:40). His black tail strangles King so he cannot scream to power up, and a Vegito clone shoots King through the head (ep 0220 00:32:40–00:36:40). Zeus is shocked, Genesis afraid and Chronoa delighted; King’s body sinks into a sea turned red, and Vegito asks “Who’s next?” (ep 0220 00:36:58–00:38:18).

Uncertainties

  • Which Trunks is inside Vegito isn’t said (Ultra Trunks was absorbed in ep 0177; the young Trunks was last seen with Bardock in ep 0178), so the cast list links the Trunks hub.
  • The black-pigment, horned form is not named.
  • King’s “Supreme Leader” is inferred to mean Zeus.
  • Zeus doesn’t formally announce the end of Round 6 in this episode; Chronoa’s win is inferred from King’s death.
