Summary

The pitch-black fighter tells Zeus he was “unchained” and has come to fight for him; Castiel calls foul, Poseidon feels his power is greater than his own, and Chronoa is delighted (ep 0208 00:01:06–00:03:22). Zeus scolds him by name — Genesis — for coming to the wrong place, and Genesis, sheepish, dismisses Akuma and Omni Vegito as weaklings (ep 0208 00:03:45–00:05:34). Omni Vegito’s power-up drives Genesis back; Genesis wonders if this is the Omni Devil Zeus spoke of, and Vegito says he has already beaten the god killer before Genesis leaves (ep 0208 00:05:44–00:10:44). Watching on a screen, Hera’s god-killer Goku sneers at Poseidon’s team but frets about facing Goten, whom he still loves; god-killer Vegeta offers to kill the boy for him and wants a rematch after the tournament; Veku tells them to stop bickering (ep 0208 00:12:14–00:16:24). Omni Vegito floors Akuma with a Kamehameha, rescues the beaten Jiren by knocking Kratos out, and stops a red-eyed Goten from killing Asura — “we don’t kill” — before putting Asura to sleep with a look (ep 0208 00:16:30–00:26:26). Facing all three, the Doom Slayer stabs his sword into the stage and quits; Zeus declares Round 1 for Castiel (ep 0208 00:27:09–00:31:02). Round 2, Stage 1 is drawn at once: Zeus against Poseidon again (ep 0208 00:33:28–00:33:52). Dragon God Piccolo, watching from afar, heals Akuma and Asura (ep 0208 00:36:06–00:37:11). Zeus’s second fighter enters alone — Ardos, “the brother you forgot all about” to Akobel and Castiel — and at the signal beheads all four of Poseidon’s fighters; Poseidon is eliminated (ep 0208 00:35:10–00:38:42).

Uncertainties

  • Zeus said a team with fewer than three members is disqualified (ep 0207 00:03:19–00:03:29), yet Ardos fights alone; narration notes he is “not part of at least a three” (00:35:43–00:35:50). Unexplained.
  • Genesis was called “the very first fighter of Zeus” (ep 0207 00:36:25); here Ardos is “the second” (00:35:19).
  • “two Art Angels” (00:38:20) is read as two Archangels (Akobel and Castiel (inferred)).
  • Piccolo’s healing is shown at once with Akuma and Asura waking (00:36:22–00:37:11); that he caused it is inferred from “You’re welcome”.
