Aliases & name spellings

• Poseidon; “the Elder God Poseidon” (narration, ep 0167 00:32:56–00:33:10). His transformed shark-like state is called his “Samahad” / “Samahara” form (as heard) (ep 0230 00:10:20–00:10:36; ep 0257 00:03:42–00:04:16). See names.

Overview

An Elder God who lives underwater and has made many multiverses of his own (ep 0165 00:29:44–00:30:25; ep 0252 00:35:07–00:35:26). Contemptuous of Hera’s “lesser creatures”, he recruits warriors from his own multiverses — Kratos, Asura, Akuma and the Doom Slayer — for the Tournament of Elders, boasting that Zeus’s throne is as good as his (ep 0167 00:32:56–00:35:42; ep 0183 00:15:08–00:15:35; ep 0206 00:36:03–00:36:36). Ardos beheads all four of his fighters and he is the first Elder God eliminated (ep 0208 00:38:18–00:38:44). When Ultra Vegito later enters his multiverse, Poseidon fights him, takes off his visor and cuts off his arm, but is stabbed through the chest; Chronoa then reverses his time and sends him home (ep 0253 00:23:08–00:24:06; ep 0254 00:29:29–00:39:42; ep 0256 00:14:44–00:15:46). Vegito has taken his cyan energy-ball ability (ep 0257 00:03:42–00:04:16).

As of his last appearance (ep 0256): alive, sent back to his own realm by Chronoa; “one of the weaker elder gods”, he will need hours to recover (ep 0256 00:14:44–00:16:49).
