Summary

Ultra Vegito frees Genesis from the prince’s gravity with a kick to the face, and Genesis, cheerful as ever, thanks “Veggie-chan” (ep 0260 00:01:43–00:04:21). Vegito tells Zeus he had been inside Genesis all along, wanting more of Zeus’s energy; Zeus fries Genesis with his lightning to make sure nothing of Vegito is left, destroying the clone Vegito had left in him again (ep 0260 00:05:03–00:07:39). Vegito and Genesis make short work of the two lesser devils, who take them for Elder Gods, catching them between two blasts (ep 0260 00:08:00–00:15:37). The prince, who says Zeus last saw him as “a prepubescent boy”, meets Zeus as an equal, punch for punch and blast for blast; Vegito is amazed and wonders how to attain such power (ep 0260 00:16:46–00:20:47). Genesis explains that these are devils of hell, unlike the Omni Devil: the princes of hell have a mutated Devil Gene — which reminds Vegito of Kazuya’s one-in-a-million mutated variants that would supposedly never appear in the tournament (ep 0260 00:21:12–00:22:20). Zeus accuses the devils of interfering with his tournament and threatens to slaughter everyone, the Queen included; when the prince lets slip a remark about Devil Gene users, Zeus is sure (ep 0260 00:22:32–00:23:59). He headbutts the prince bloody, floors him with a shadow-clone’s punch, then chokes and electrocutes him, while Vegito resolves to uncover all that the old man still hides (ep 0260 00:24:10–00:29:21). The prince calls Prime Zeus his final state — “But we devils have no end” — and takes his mutated Devil Gene form: bone exoskeleton, wings and streams of purple energy (ep 0260 00:30:02–00:32:24). Zeus thinks that long ago only one Devil Gene from hell existed and vows to correct “Titan’s mistake” (ep 0260 00:32:34–00:34:45). Before they clash again, Devil Gene Vegito appears overhead to join the fight, with his own plan (ep 0260 00:35:11–00:36:18).

  • 00:12:38–00:12:46 A devil: “So… These are the Elder Gods! No wonder the princes spoke so highly of them!”
  • 00:14:49–00:15:37 The two lesser devils destroyed between Vegito’s and Genesis’s blasts.
  • 00:17:04–00:17:10 The prince: Zeus last saw him as a boy.

  • 00:21:29–00:21:58 Genesis: the princes of hell have a “Mutated devil gene”, unlike the Omni Devil.
  • 00:22:07–00:22:20 Kazuya had spoken of one-in-a-million mutated variants.
  • 00:22:37–00:23:12 Zeus: the devils were told to stay in hell; “You devils have been interfering with my tournament.”

Threads

Uncertainties

  • Who says “Titan. Don’t compare yourself to that beast. You wretched shell” (00:34:28–00:34:45) is unclear; it comes between Zeus’s vow and the prince’s laughter at “this response from Zeus”, so probably Zeus (inferred).
  • “Titan made an escape” (00:32:50) is garbled.
  • This prince is not the two-Seraphim prince, who appears beside him in ep 0261 00:33:10–00:33:57; whether he is the one Demigra spoke of is not said. His eyes are yellow (00:17:52).
  • Whose side Vegito takes is left open (00:36:13–00:36:18).
