Summary

The episode opens on Round 9 with no account of how Round 8 ended. Akobel’s Shiva and Prince Coral (earlier heard “Korrel”) face Castiel’s Omni Vegito and Dragon God Piccolo; Coral sneers that Castiel was “too busy watching universes for his own entertainment” to create anything grand (ep 0230 00:00:24–00:01:50). Akobel is sure of his superiority; Castiel quietly warns Omni Vegito that if he causes his brother’s death, Castiel will cause his (ep 0230 00:02:56–00:04:10). Zeus — with Genesis copying him — starts the round (ep 0230 00:04:31–00:05:15). Coral, “Prince and Guardian” of his world, outpaces Piccolo, reveals a clawed transformation and water powers, shields himself with real coral and blasts away Piccolo’s arm and part of his torso; Piccolo, the Dragon God who creates the wishing orbs, regrows them instantly and powers up in orange lightning (ep 0230 00:05:27–00:15:15). Poseidon and Hades notice that Akobel modelled Coral on Poseidon’s powers (ep 0230 00:10:14–00:16:06). Demigra, standing on the bowed Hades’s back, says the many Devil Gene users mean the tournament will end soon: “Our day of reckoning for Titan and Zeus is coming” (ep 0230 00:15:19–00:16:54). Shiva’s giant tail cracks the stage; Omni Vegito blasts debris away, but Shiva freezes the right side of his own face and encases Vegito’s right arm and left leg in unbreakable ice (ep 0230 00:17:10–00:26:53). Vegito uses the ice blocks themselves to absorb and shatter Shiva’s tail strikes, then raises his “great demon” wall from the Castiel fight; a demonic head on it fires a blast that erases Shiva and a quarter of the stadium (ep 0230 00:28:02–00:35:35). Omni Vegito turns with pure red eyes and a demonic horn: he too has mastered the Devil Gene in his thousand years of training; Demigra exults — “Another Devil!” (ep 0230 00:35:52–00:36:52).

Uncertainties

  • The end of Round 8 (Ranin vs Trunks, with Vegito’s intervention) is not shown; this episode opens after unshown events. The upload gap (ep 0229 on 2026-03-20, ep 0230 on 2026-04-03) suggests some story may have been skipped (inferred).
  • The prince’s name: “Korrel” in ep 0225; here the narration ties it to coral (00:11:54) — “Coral” is used from now on.
  • “Titan” in Demigra’s line (00:16:48) may be the “Titan Summer” of ep 0227 (possible link).
  • Poseidon’s “my old Samahad estate” (00:10:27–00:10:34) is garbled.
  • Shiva is not dead: he returns in ep 0231, his armour blown off.
  • Zeus doesn’t announce a result here; Shiva’s erasure leaves Coral fighting Piccolo.
