Summary

The Elder Gods watch the sea-cave fight through a portal in the middle of the stage; Castiel calls King one of “father’s first ever creations” and marvels that a mortal can use two sets of Elder God eyes at once (ep 0219 00:01:19–00:02:28). Hera swears Vegito “will die by my hand”; Chronoa is pleased he finally worked out the infinity eye (ep 0219 00:02:50–00:03:44). King calls himself royalty trained by Zeus; Vegito answers that with his father dead he too is a king, draws both godslayer blades and freezes King in time (ep 0219 00:05:15–00:07:12). King’s shadow, not frozen, rises as a copy of him and knocks Vegito away; King explains the eye “can only freeze time for a singular object” and that its use is draining Vegito (ep 0219 00:08:25–00:13:51). King hides in the sea and crushes Vegito with four energy columns, but Vegito emerges unhurt inside a green infinity-shaped shield made from the Arc Saiyan eyes and Chronoa’s eye (ep 0219 00:16:12–00:19:44). Vegito teleports beside King with the infinity eye and, through the Arc Saiyan eyes, summons Broly’s green Oozaru apparition, whose blast leaves King’s armour in tatters (ep 0219 00:20:38–00:23:41). Insulted by the ape, King makes an artificial moon and transforms into a furred, wolf-tailed form resembling Super Saiyan 4: he is the king of the “volgar” (as heard), Zeus’s very first creation, a wolf warrior race he calls the blueprint the Saiyans were copied from (ep 0219 00:24:57–00:30:44). He beats Vegito through Super Saiyan, 2 and 3 (ep 0219 00:31:25–00:36:09). Vegito rises from a water vortex in Gohan’s Beyond Beast form for the first time (ep 0219 00:37:14–00:38:24).

Uncertainties

  • “father” in Castiel’s line is inferred to mean Zeus (Castiel is Zeus’s son per ep 0209 context).
  • The race’s name is heard “volvgar” and “volgar”; spelling unknown.
  • Which father Vegito means by “my father dead” isn’t said; King Vegeta was killed in ep 0137 (inferred).
