Summary

Coral and Shiva can’t believe Piccolo’s healing; Coral explains the Dragon God can grant wishes himself (ep 0232 00:01:30–00:03:41). Piccolo backhands Shiva over to Omni Vegito, shrugs off a beam through his chest by healing with a snap, and beats Coral until a flying kick lands him unconscious in the Elder Gods’ seats beside Akobel (ep 0232 00:04:33–00:13:00). Furious, Akobel orders “ALL LIMITERS… OVER!”: Shiva must show his full potential even if it kills him, as “the power of black ice” (ep 0232 00:13:21–00:15:45). Shiva turns into a long-skulled, blade-shouldered creature of pitch-black ice with an ice horn, stronger than Coral and his old self combined (ep 0232 00:15:53–00:18:16). He freezes Piccolo in black ice that “won’t thaw out until I die”; Omni Vegito saves the block from being shattered, but Shiva drives a spike through one of Omni Vegito’s eyes, destroying it, and blasts him point-blank (ep 0232 00:20:36–00:27:55). Shiva blocks the great demon wall’s blast with a black ice wall and turns the stage into a snow domain; Omni Vegito, needing Piccolo — “my one way to win this tournament” — decides to reveal a surprise he was saving for the god killer, hoping Ultra Vegito isn’t watching (ep 0232 00:28:47–00:32:50). Akobel orders Shiva to stop him transforming; Shiva encases him in ice mountains and, with seconds to live in this form, declares the battle over (ep 0232 00:33:40–00:35:42). A white flash breaks out, and Omni Vegito — paper-white skin, three horns, two wings — punches Shiva: the first Saiyan to fully activate the Devil Gene, and only the second, after Kazuya, to master it; Ultra Vegito watches with a furious grimace (ep 0232 00:35:52–00:38:39).

Uncertainties

  • Whether Shiva dies from his black ice form isn’t shown here; he says it will kill him within seconds (00:35:19–00:35:31). Next episode Piccolo heals him fully and Omni Vegito then kills him (ep 0233 00:05:40–00:06:56, 00:09:00–00:11:20).
  • Piccolo is still frozen at the end, with cracks in the ice (00:32:10–00:32:17).
  • Omni Vegito’s lines at 00:37:39–00:38:01 (“Are you there… god killer… Ms. Cloud… Ed…”) are garbled; they seem aimed at Ultra Vegito (inferred).
  • Shiva’s “Goobel… I miss… Boy…” (00:17:32–00:17:42) is garbled.
  • No result for Round 9 is announced yet.
