Aliases & name spellings

  • Akobel; heard “Akobelle”, “Acobelle”, “Ako-Bel”, “Acrobel”, “Akabel”, “Akabelle”, “Acapel”, “Aqabel”, “Aquabelle”, “Aku Bell” (see names).
  • “Elder God and Arch Angel” (self, ep 0175 00:26:33); “The son of Zeus” and “Mr. Goody Two-Shoes” (Hera, ep 0186 00:03:18); “Aki” (Omad, ep 0225 00:23:41–00:28:22).
  • Probably the “Akobet” whose power Z channels in his Seraphim form (ep 0062 00:34:44) (inferred: Z’s next call names “Acrobel and Castiel”, ep 0063 00:24:20).

Overview

An Elder God and one of the two Archangels: Zeus’s son, Castiel’s elder brother, and father of both Dai and Lucif by Rani. He wants to replace Zeus as leader of the Elder Gods, with Lucif as his tool and heir (ep 0176 00:32:03–00:37:12; ep 0186 00:02:16–00:34:59; ep 0246 00:01:38–00:03:02). Zeus let him into the tournament of creations on pain of erasure if he loses it (ep 0187 00:29:42–00:37:45); his team lost Round 9 to Castiel (ep 0233) but won Round 11 against Zeus (ep 0248). As of ep 0259 he brushes off Ares’s warning about hell, saying he will deal with it once he is leader (ep 0259 00:16:53–00:17:38).

Affiliations & relationships

Abilities / traits

  • Dai’s Arch Angel power is “A slice of the power” of Akobel and Castiel (ep 0156 00:18:43–00:18:49); a light “sent down from Akobel himself” tears Vegito’s beam apart (ep 0157 00:04:51–00:06:15).
  • Has a white domain only he and his guest can enter or hear (ep 0175 00:26:03–00:26:24).

Variants

  • No other version of him is shown.
