Summary

Pinned by Poseidon’s trident, Ultra Vegito is told that borrowed powers like the Devil Gene and Zeus’s energy can never match their owners and that he needs “something of your own” (ep 0254 00:01:29–00:01:49). He calls down a bolt of purple lightning — Zeus’s lightning mixed with destruction energy, which erases the trident like a Hakai — and credits Vegeta, the new owner of that lightning inside him (ep 0254 00:02:33–00:05:19). Letting further purple bolts strike him, he trades speed for raw strength, parting the sea with a swipe, and says he will clean up the mess Hera, Akobel and Chronoa have made (ep 0254 00:05:34–00:11:49). He shrugs off water sharks and water bullets, then fakes Poseidon out: a giant Kamehameha Hakai and a Buu-goo clone draw his attention while the real Vegito lands a blow that leaves a scratch on Poseidon’s cheek (ep 0254 00:12:21–00:20:15). Angered, Poseidon traps them in a dome of living water that cuts Vegito off from the purple lightning from the sky; Vegito’s last yellow “Thunderspear” barely dents it (ep 0254 00:20:25–00:25:58). Inside, Poseidon is faster and crushes him — a punch that nearly tears his head off, a kick, a blast to the face, and a swipe that cuts off his arm (ep 0254 00:26:28–00:30:12). His regeneration falters from the energy spent, and Vegito flees until a final blow to the solar plexus knocks him through the dome, back in base and barely alive (ep 0254 00:30:28–00:34:42). Holding him by the throat, Poseidon lectures that the gods Vegito killed were only creations, and “a creator will never be surpassed by its creation” (ep 0254 00:35:08–00:36:39). As a water shark rises to eat him, Vegito grips Poseidon’s arm; a purple bolt, no longer blocked, freezes Poseidon, and Vegito drives his arm through the Elder God’s chest (ep 0254 00:37:29–00:39:17). “One hit is all I needed to win!” (ep 0254 00:39:24–00:40:11).

  • Whether Poseidon is killed is left open here: the narration says “perhaps the first to die” (00:39:17) and he is still speaking (00:39:35–00:39:40); the title says Vegito kills an Elder God. He survives: Vegito escapes him and Chronoa turns back his pursuit (ep 0256 00:01:24–00:01:47, 00:14:46–00:15:44).
  • The narration at 00:04:55 says Vegeta explains, but the speaker calls himself “the slaughterer of every god of destruction” — Vegito (inferred), with Vegeta’s image behind him.
  • At 00:19:45–00:19:56 “Vegito made sure…” is taken as Vegeta, since the speaker means to “give him a little treat when I’m back” (inferred).
  • “This was the first elder god to be made by Ultra Vegito” (00:39:10) is garbled; it likely means the first Elder God he struck down (inferred).
