Summary

Inside Genesis, Ultra Vegito — seemingly a clone without many of his strongest absorbed warriors — reveals he saw everything while hidden on Genesis’s body and wants the “old man’s power” Genesis holds (ep 0237 00:00:58–00:03:11). He powers up into his horned, three-eyed form with white hair, grey fur, a tail and an infinity-symbol third eye, the form last used to beat one of Zeus’s warriors (ep 0237 00:03:22–00:05:26). His punch lands, but Genesis turns into lightning to dodge, then escapes blood spears Ultra Vegito raises from Genesis’s own blood (ep 0237 00:05:53–00:11:50). A green Oozaru apparition with god-killer Broly’s Arc Saiyan eyes grabs and blasts Genesis, but his lightning splits it apart (ep 0237 00:12:09–00:16:10). Ultra Vegito raises Akuma, Kratos and Asura — Poseidon’s three fighters, which he says he secretly absorbed — as an “army of the dead”, but one thrown bolt cuts all four of them in half; he regenerates (ep 0237 00:16:53–00:20:25). Taunted with Omni Vegito’s Zenkai boost, he uses the volgar power he took from King to grow stronger at will, overpowers Genesis, hurls him away and fires an infinity-eye beam followed by a twenty-minute barrage (ep 0237 00:21:29–00:28:43). Exhausted, he finds the power-ups don’t raise his energy limit (ep 0237 00:29:34–00:30:17). Genesis, who had escaped long before, is calmly smoking a cigarette and tells him he can’t win (ep 0237 00:30:45–00:32:50). Ultra Vegito then throws Genesis’s own yellow lightning — “the power of Prime Vegito!” — and burns him badly (ep 0237 00:33:39–00:37:17). He reveals the barrage was cover: his Saiyan tail had been replaced by a Cell tail stabbed into Genesis’s flesh, absorbing his power for twenty minutes; Genesis apologises to Zeus, and the narration calls Ultra Vegito the winner, now holding Zeus Prime’s power (ep 0237 00:37:46–00:39:51).

Key events

  • 00:02:58–00:03:11 Ultra Vegito: “I saw everything… while I was hid on your body”; Zeus’s power is why Genesis “will become mine”.
  • 00:04:06–00:04:20 His first power-up since his years of training, “seemingly just a clone” without many of his strongest warriors.
  • 00:04:20–00:05:26 The horned form: black ink face marks, horns, white hair, grey fur, tail, third eye with the infinity symbol.
  • 00:07:12–00:07:29 Genesis turns his body into yellow lightning to move.
  • 00:11:06 Ultra Vegito bloodbends spears from Genesis’s blood.
  • 00:12:36–00:13:28 The green Oozaru apparition with god-killer Broly’s Arc Saiyan eyes.
  • 00:15:51–00:16:00 Genesis’s lightning destroys the “Elder God level apparition”.
  • 00:17:26–00:17:41 “His famous army of the dead”: Akuma, Kratos and Asura, “The three fighters of Poseidon he secretly absorbed”.
  • 00:19:18–00:20:25 One bolt cuts them and Ultra Vegito in half; he regenerates.
  • 00:23:20–00:24:42 Using King’s power: volgar eyes, “part of the original blueprint Zeus had in mind”.
  • 00:28:14–00:28:43 A barrage lasting twenty minutes.
  • 00:29:48–00:30:17 Drawback: his total energy stays the same; his android infinite energy no longer keeps up.
  • 00:30:59 Genesis smoking: “Back when I smoked a pack of cigs a day.”
  • 00:32:41–00:32:50 Genesis: “Not this version of me in here… I’m not even sure I’m real in here.”
  • 00:34:01–00:34:23 “This is the power of Prime Vegito!”
  • 00:38:38–00:39:13 A Cell tail replaced his Saiyan tail; “20 minutes I had to absorb what you had!”
  • 00:39:13–00:39:51 “It’s over for you and all these elder gods!”; narration: Ultra Vegito has gained “the power of Zeus Prime”.

Uncertainties

  • Ultra Vegito’s absorbing Akuma, Kratos and Asura “secretly” (00:17:33) had not been shown; Ardos beheaded Poseidon’s fighters in ep 0208. When it happened is not said.
  • Whether Genesis is fully absorbed isn’t shown here; the narration only says Ultra Vegito defeated him (00:39:36–00:39:51). He isn’t: Genesis fights Lucif in Round 11 (ep 0243 00:35:50–00:37:21), and Ultra Vegito, who never left his body, comes out of it in hell (ep 0259 00:36:03–00:36:35).
  • The summoning call at 00:17:18–00:17:20 (“ARISE! MASUTS!”) is garbled.
  • “Seemingly just a clone” (00:04:13) is the narration’s hedge; whether this Vegito is the full one is unclear.
