Summary

Castiel confronts Omni Vegito and Piccolo for helping bring his brother closer to erasure, says he never needed to win the tournament, and powers up with red and black lightning, “A variant of Zeus’s own” (ep 0239 00:00:25–00:04:34). Piccolo takes a bolt meant for Omni Vegito and loses both arms, then heals himself by a wish, without needing his hands (ep 0239 00:04:58–00:07:43). Omni Vegito pulls out Chronoa’s sand timer and opens a portal; as Castiel readies a killing blast, a dark figure with yellow eyes blocks him and the pair escape (ep 0239 00:08:51–00:11:12). The figure is Zeus, who tells Castiel that in Zeus’s multiverse no fighter may die outside the arena, and whoever kills one dies too; Castiel’s lightning fades and he walks away (ep 0239 00:11:23–00:13:54). In Chronoa’s time-shifted training grounds, Omni Vegito resolves to grow strong enough to take down the Elder Gods themselves (ep 0239 00:14:05–00:15:35). At the stadium Ardos scorns Demigra’s surrender; Demigra calls it tactics, since Hades’s team is finished anyway (ep 0239 00:15:50–00:17:17). Zeus returns, gives Round 10 to himself — praising Ardos as his son — and announces Hades’s elimination: five gods remain (ep 0239 00:18:35–00:20:33). Round 11 is a 3 vs 3 of one-on-one fights, and Zeus draws himself against Akobel, a loss that would seal Akobel’s erasure; Castiel says Zeus has been choosing the order all along (ep 0239 00:20:41–00:24:00). Zeus summons Avalor, his second creation after King, a pale blue ice figure (ep 0239 00:25:16–00:27:03). Akobel answers with a Goku who escaped Hera’s multiverse when a god-killer Vegito destroyed and absorbed everything there, including his son Gohan; his instant transmission carried him into Akobel’s multiverse, where Akobel gave him eternal youth and over 10,000 years of training (ep 0239 00:27:43–00:32:10). Hera objects; Akobel cites the rule that a mortal entering an Elder God’s domain belongs to that god (ep 0239 00:32:17–00:33:16). Round 11 begins: Goku climbs through Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 3 and mastered Ultra Instinct to crack Avalor, then reveals a dark-haired “Super Saiyan 6” with volgar-like eyes (ep 0239 00:33:20–00:39:19).

Threads

Uncertainties

  • Which god-killer Vegito destroyed Akobel’s Goku’s home is not named beyond “the famous god killer… Known as Vegito”; Ultra Vegito was made by Hera, so it may be him (inferred; better supported in ep 0242, where this Goku calls himself the one who escaped Vegito at “the Cell game” and Vegito recognises him, 00:28:17–00:28:45).
  • The dark figure who stops Castiel “resembling Genesis… with yellow glowing eyes” is revealed as Zeus (00:10:42–00:11:44).
  • Zeus’s draw (00:22:20–00:22:40) is partly lost; the narration names him and his son who wants his throne (Akobel).
  • “Super Saiyan 6” is the Goku’s own name for the form (00:38:20–00:38:44); the narration links his eyes to the volgar (heard “Wolf Guard”).
