Summary

Lucif mocks the three godkillers — Vegeta, “half-baked” Arch Angel Goku and Ultra Trunks — and asks Trunks where he was when they fought his little brother; Trunks says he has fought Lucif before, in another timeline, and will save this one (ep 0168 00:01:03–00:03:20). Lucif blames “That old wretch Chronoa” for letting time travellers meddle and says the Elder Gods must be removed (ep 0168 00:03:34–00:03:55). Trunks powers up into the form his father took against Dai: black arms and sclera, a red Seraphim, a symbol on his brow, and an apparition of his timeline’s Lucif behind him — Lucif senses his own energy in the boy and wonders if he was that timeline’s chosen vessel (ep 0168 00:04:46–00:05:48). With Trunks and Vegeta holding his arms, Goku’s Instant Transmission and dragon-fist-like punch draw Lucif’s blood; Lucif powers up a little and kicks, headbutts and blasts all three away (ep 0168 00:06:41–00:15:48). Waiting for the merger of the realms — “my power of the Omni-King will combine with that of the Devil’s” — he is caught by Goku sliding between his legs and firing a Kamehameha smite that sends him out of orbit (ep 0168 00:16:00–00:19:14). Castiel, watching Poseidon’s portals, sees his plan: to fight fire with fire using Kratos, a godkiller who “conquered all 28 of the gods of destruction in his multiverse”; Castiel wonders what exists in his own multiverses (ep 0168 00:19:55–00:23:49). In the demon realm, the Devil returns, a time ring crumbling after spending one of its two lives; he has ten rings (ep 0168 00:24:03–00:26:28). Nephilim Vegito erases his blast with a finger, rips off his arm — which melts to goo, rings and all — tears off his lips, and resolves to beat him to a pulp until his Buu healing runs out, since Gero’s generator has its limits (ep 0168 00:27:19–00:35:13). On the icy planet, Lucif returns unharmed — “I am the grand priest’s brother!” — fells Vegeta and Trunks and aims a blast at Goku, but a kick sends him flying: Jiren, scarred and horned, is back: “Where is Vegito?” (ep 0168 00:35:21–00:40:48).
