Overview

A Trunks from another timeline whose life mirrors Vegito’s: he killed his Beerus by accident, spent ten years chained, was freed by Whis’s sacrifice, found Earth and his parents gone and killed every god — then freed Lucif to beat Zeno and the Grand Priest, which cost him his whole multiverse (ep 0123 00:31:24–00:36:10; ep 0126 00:02:51–00:05:21). He went through it “completely alone” (narration, ep 0124 00:01:05). He came to Vegito’s timeline with a time ring to stop Lucif’s horror from happening again, and to learn whether Vegito, like him, carries “A part of Lucif that was left behind” (ep 0123 00:36:52–00:36:59; ep 0124 00:30:20–00:30:46). By ep 0127 he was travelling with Goku and Vegeta to the other universes, hiding from Goku that his energy was fading (ep 0126 00:01:45–00:01:56, 00:24:53–00:24:57).

Since then: he travelled the universes with Goku and Vegeta by his lone time ring, fought Lucif’s royal guards, and against Lucif himself was possessed by Rani’s child (ep 0133 00:14:41–00:15:20; ep 0148 00:28:21–00:33:58; ep 0171 00:04:22–00:04:58). Beaten nearly to death by Vegito to free him of that child, he fought on beside Vegeta and was absorbed into Vegito (ep 0175 00:11:38–00:24:19; ep 0177 00:17:32–00:28:08). As of his last appearances he is out again as Chronoa’s “god-killer Trunks” in the Elder Gods’ tournament: he killed the Lucif inside him to take his Devil Gene, but lost Round 8 to Ranin, and trains with Vegeta, whom he calls father (ep 0227 00:27:26–00:38:24; ep 0229 00:01:53–00:35:03; ep 0246 00:15:31–00:16:15).
