Summary

Omni King Vegito tells Castiel why he wants our Vegito dead: the Oracle Fish foretold that one who “would look just like me” would come to kill him and succeed, so he prepared (ep 0174 00:02:34–00:03:20). He guesses Castiel came to have him deal with the god killer; Castiel agrees, but says there are two threats — Vegito, and “a fallen angel known as Lucif… The bastard son of an Elder God. My nephew” — and whichever wins their battle is the one he will face (ep 0174 00:04:55–00:07:08). The Omni King accepts and Castiel opens a portal: “Your training begins now” (ep 0174 00:07:31–00:08:12). He brings his own team through another portal: his son Gohan, Grand Priest of his multiverse, white-haired with eyes like Dai’s; Piccolo, the Dragon God of their realm (a Zalama counterpart); and his “final son” Goten, the first of the five strongest there and Goku’s double; Castiel decides the tournament can have more than one participant (ep 0174 00:09:12–00:13:33). On the icy planet our Vegito, in his Nephilim form, greets Lucif as an old friend (ep 0174 00:13:41–00:14:13). He reveals he was the “Lucif Vegito” who appeared earlier — a disguise using Buu’s power to become anything, earrings left wrong on purpose — and that the real Devil, who kept coming back each time he died, got “Eternal torture. Until he knew to give in” (ep 0174 00:16:35–00:18:03). Narration: Devil Vegito has absorbed all ten demon emperors and his own clone (ep 0174 00:20:16–00:20:21). One devil-arm punch cracks Lucif’s divine chest plate; a storm of energy beams and a demon-coloured Kamehameha leave Lucif at the bottom of a pit (ep 0174 00:20:38–00:29:30). Lucif climbs out, taps his devil side — horns, devil wings “Much like Kazuya had”, red eyes — and charges, but a rising knee shatters his horns and teeth, and a double kick breaks his chest plate and throws him across the sea (ep 0174 00:31:00–00:39:25). Sinking unconscious, he hears a voice and sees a hand reach down: “You are by blood. An angel. An archangel in fact… My son” — and he wakes with a cyan completed Seraphim (ep 0174 00:39:46–00:42:27).

Uncertainties

  • Where the real Goku was while Vegito wore his shape isn’t stated.
  • Who is speaking at 00:14:34–00:14:40 (“Vegito! What happened to him? He’s on our side now!”) is unclear; narration then names Vegeta.
  • “another version of me” whom Lucif killed (00:07:39) — perhaps the Omni King means our Vegito’s defeat in the final battle, or the Devil (inferred, unclear).
  • The voice that calls Lucif “My son” is unseen; narration calls him Lucif’s “so called father” (00:42:23). Castiel’s words suggest an Elder God; it is Akobel, who reveals himself to Lucif as his father next episode (ep 0175 00:22:33–00:26:33).
