Summary

Omni King Vegito meditates in Castiel’s training facility — “even greater than the pyramid of power” — where his group has trained for decades in a few hours of real time under Castiel’s whip (ep 0177 00:01:04–00:02:44). His son Gohan attacks him in a spar; the Omni King mocks his “angel eyes” and urges him to learn the Seraphim, but Gohan, who wants his own path to power, fools him with a clone (ep 0177 00:03:08–00:08:03). Their Kamehameha clash is stopped by the Dragon God Piccolo’s purple dragons: this realm isn’t the Omni King’s domain and could trap them all, as once happened with Gotenks (ep 0177 00:08:32–00:10:24). Piccolo, who trains by fighting opponents in his mind, drops his weighted cape and challenges the Omni King himself (ep 0177 00:11:05–00:13:37). In our multiverse, Lucif reflects that an Elder God’s erasure is beyond any Hakai or smite, then tells Vegeta, Trunks and Jiren that Goku “had already merged with Vegito”, the child is gone, and they can choose to die by violence or by erasure (ep 0177 00:14:23–00:16:14). Vegeta tells Trunks he may flee by time ring; Trunks, having failed his own timeline, chooses to die by his father’s side, and both go Super Saiyan 3 with green Seraphim (ep 0177 00:16:52–00:19:28). Jiren hangs back: “They don’t know. Do they?” (ep 0177 00:20:00–00:20:16). Lucif shrugs off their blows and beams, knocks them to base and binds them in a halo of energy — “Elder. Erasure.” — but a wave of goo swallows them and carries them away (ep 0177 00:20:30–00:27:22). It splashes onto the arm of Ultra Vegito, back unharmed, absorbing Vegeta and Trunks (ep 0177 00:27:24–00:28:08). He shows five time rings on one hand; one, its two lives used, fades, leaving four — taken from the Devil, “the Vegito that first greeted you” (ep 0177 00:28:54–00:30:38). With Goku, Vegeta and Trunks in him, he takes an all-new form — black-and-white hair, black gloves and greaves, three red-and-black eyes — and thinks: “This is my limit… If this isn’t enough for an elder god, nothing will be” (ep 0177 00:30:52–00:33:59). He grabs Lucif’s erasure halo, stretches it and skips with it like a jump rope: “This is just the warmup I needed” (ep 0177 00:35:08–00:36:30).

Uncertainties

  • When Goku merged with Vegito isn’t shown; Lucif states it (00:15:40).
  • Whether “the three godkillers” screaming inside Vegito’s power-up (00:31:48–00:31:55) are Goku, Vegeta and Trunks is inferred.
  • Jiren’s “They don’t know” suggests he knew Vegito was alive (inferred).
  • The technique is heard “Elder Erasure” here and “Elder Aurasia” in ep 0176 — the same name: “Aurasia” is a mishearing (resolved in review; the ep 0176 scene is the same erasing touch, 00:38:22).
