Summary

Vegito and Yamoshi come through the portal into sector 6, a sweltering lava sector, healed and back in their old clothes (ep 0123 00:00:59–00:01:18). Four armoured demons shaped like the Ginyu Force, each with a single black-and-blue eye, are waiting: their leader says sector 7’s new emperor has come “just as our lord said he would”, and that they guard the throne of Emperor Zuko (name as heard) (ep 0123 00:03:07–00:04:25, 00:06:07). Yamoshi steps in front of Vegito as the gatekeeper’s gatekeeper, saying he still has sins to atone for, and as a Super Saiyan kills the three underlings one after another (ep 0123 00:06:31–00:13:07). The leader absorbs his own broken-armed subordinate, grows much faster, beats Yamoshi into the lava and catches him in a crushing hold with a Janemba-like trick (ep 0123 00:15:53–00:22:19). Yamoshi’s eyes then turn from green to blood red, his teeth sharpen, and he breaks free and all but cuts the demon’s throat — and Vegito realises this dark energy is not Yamoshi’s own (ep 0123 00:22:51–00:24:50). Vegito makes the dying demon look into his eyes and see his true, demonic self, then has him lead them to Emperor Zuko (ep 0123 00:26:18–00:28:08). On the jungle planet, the green-eyed Trunks tells Goku his story: his timeline’s path mirrors Vegito’s — he killed Beerus by accident, spent ten years chained, was freed by Whis’s sacrifice, found Earth and his parents gone and killed every god, taking their powers with a device he built (ep 0123 00:28:44–00:35:30). He says he only beat Zeno and the Grand Priest through Lucif, which ended his multiverse; he refuses to say more, draws an energy blade and challenges Goku to show his green Seraphim (ep 0123 00:35:41–00:37:38).

  • The end of the episode (00:37:21–00:38:08) is a squeezed, partly repeated stretch in the transcript it is read as one exchange.
  • The sector 6 emperor is heard as “Zuko” every time (00:06:07, 00:09:50, 00:16:03, 00:27:57); the spelling is a guess.
  • Shouted names among the underlings — “Boris” (00:09:59, 00:10:25) and “BUDO!” (00:11:14) — may be their names or mishearings of Burter and Guldo.
  • Four figures are shown (00:03:07) but the narration later says “each of the five” (00:05:44).
  • Vegito’s “Don’t tell me it was back there!” (00:23:41) most likely means Yamoshi’s eating of the sector 7 emperor (ep 0122 00:13:39–00:14:29) (inferred).
