Summary

Tired of the endless corridor, Vegito threatens to blow sector 1 apart unless Dai shows himself, and on “1” his surroundings vanish: he stands in a black desert under an orange sky, strewn with used swords (ep 0148 00:01:04–00:04:46). Five warriors in maroon holy armour, white-haired and pale-blue-eyed, pick up swords; they say they are angels “of the highest grade”, made personally by the creator of all angels, not like “little Whis” (ep 0148 00:05:25–00:08:56). Vegito, who reads the creator as the being he is hunting, shows his new third eye, stops one angel’s sword with a barrier and fells him; the brothers call this one Mok (ep 0148 00:09:08–00:15:33). A third angel cuts Vegito in half from behind, but Vegito re-forms from pink goo, blasts him point-blank and bites a chunk out of his side — the angel cannot regenerate (ep 0148 00:16:33–00:20:51). He breaks the next angel’s divine blade with his teeth, rises into the sky and dives at the four with his God Slayer Blade (ep 0148 00:21:02–00:25:37). On the icy planet, Virgil sets Dante down; Dante says he was at 50% and that the Saiyans still carry some of Lucif’s energy as his former hosts (ep 0148 00:26:02–00:27:43). Goku and Vegeta say they have released all their clones across the multiverse, and Ultra Trunks shows the same crimson triangle, saying “In my timeline… I am Vegito” (ep 0148 00:28:55–00:32:46). Ultra Trunks, then Goku, chase Dante, leaving Vegeta alone with Virgil (ep 0148 00:32:52–00:34:55). Virgil says Lucif claims Vegeta used his power better than Vegito in the battle with Dai, then drops King Vegeta’s corpse through a portal and makes it explode over Vegeta (ep 0148 00:35:08–00:40:10). Vegeta rises with black-and-red demonic Seraphim and a third eye like Vegito’s — “the dark prince” (ep 0148 00:40:12–00:41:18).

Uncertainties

  • “die” in Vegito’s lines is read as Dai (likely); that the angels’ creator is the same person Vegito means is his own assumption (00:09:17).
  • Only Mok is named; “What did you do to pain” (00:20:58) may be another brother’s name.
  • Who killed King Vegeta in ep 0137 was read as Dante (0144 page, inferred); here Virgil has the body and Vegeta asks “You did this… When”, and Virgil dodges the question (00:38:36–00:39:02). The killer could be either brother.
  • Goku says his clones were spread to “keep up with” Dante; how releasing them ties in is not explained (00:28:55–00:29:12).
