Summary

On sector 8’s throne, Vegito grumbles at repeating the “same song and dance in every damn sector” and silences Yamoshi’s advice to recover, then opens the portal to sector 7 (ep 0122 00:01:11–00:03:14). It drops them right at a castle’s doors, where a giant, beastly emperor welcomes them by name — and Vegito, in base, walks past him and splits him in half without visibly moving (ep 0122 00:04:09–00:08:59). Vegito refuses to absorb such a “weak link” and walks into the darkness; Yamoshi, sure that Vegito is sliding back toward Lucif’s plans, turns the corpse into chocolate with his own Buu-made body’s candy beam and eats it — and his eyes turn blood red (ep 0122 00:09:31–00:14:29). Goku wakes, exhausted by the green Seraphim, and finds the dying Emperor Flame, whose last words are that a stronger mortal with purple hair saved Goku (ep 0122 00:14:56–00:19:34). On the Lookout, Bulma explains that she and her father built Saiyan space pods with scouters and sent the fighters out in five AI-chosen teams to save planets, and gives Goku a bag of senzu beans (ep 0122 00:21:25–00:26:49). On a jungle planet, Goku, restored with a Zenkai boost, now controls his green Seraphim and fells a crowd of demons with finger strikes (ep 0122 00:27:52–00:29:41). A stranger with a ring drops a dead demon emperor or king at his feet: “Nice to finally meet you… Son Goku” — a Trunks, with hair like the future one, who has never met Goku and has green Seraphim eyes too (ep 0122 00:30:20–00:32:17).

Uncertainties

  • The sector 7 emperor names himself “Embra” (00:05:19) but the narration later calls him “demon emperor Rove” (00:07:52, 00:08:09); which is right is unclear.
  • Goku says “It was Vegito who took out that guy” (00:15:42); he means Vegeta (corrected, marked [?]).
  • Flame was “lifeless… no more breaths” at the end of ep 0121 (ep 0121 00:37:43–00:37:53) but speaks here before dying — see retcons.
  • “Purple hair” (00:19:13) fits the Trunks revealed at the end — the narration says he is “The same one from the end of the last chapter” (00:31:44).
  • Bulma’s “little Trunks” went with Goten (00:23:51–00:25:33); the Trunks who meets Goku has never met him before (00:31:44–00:32:17), so he is a different Trunks (inferred).
  • This Android 17 and 18 are of Vegito’s own timeline, not the Android-saga timeline’s (inferred).
