Overview
The Fusion Dance fusion of the GT timeline’s Goku and Vegeta, first made at Ultra Vegito’s urging to train for a year (ep 0012 00:13:56–00:17:50). Trained by Vegito, he became that timeline’s God of Destruction and later killed its Beerus (ep 0031 00:19:38–00:21:57; ep 0083 00:11:18–00:12:18). Summoned to Vegito’s timeline, he was absorbed into Vegito (ep 0085 00:26:52–00:28:28), came out again as Stardust Gogeta against Kazuya (ep 0139–0142), and was beaten and absorbed back into Vegito (ep 0143 00:30:09–00:31:10).
As of the latest episode (ep 0261): inside Ultra Vegito, absorbed in ep 0143 (ep 0143 00:30:59–00:31:10); his positive energy keeps Vegito’s demons in check (ep 0143 00:31:10–00:31:42). Not seen apart since.

Abilities / traits
Each stage below is a form of the same GT Gogeta.
Stage: Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta — GT timeline (ep 0012–)
- Fusion Dance of GT Goku and Vegeta in Super Saiyan 4, orange-haired (ep 0012 00:17:36–00:17:50); the narration says it’s his first appearance “in both universes” (ep 0012 00:17:50).
- Defuses every 30 minutes (ep 0012 00:20:40).
- Matches Vegito’s base form (ep 0012 00:19:30); after a year of Vegito’s training he reaches Ultra Instinct, rivalling Vegito’s own (ep 0012 00:21:13–00:21:29).
- Told to use it to annihilate “Monaka” (ep 0012 00:21:39–00:21:56, 00:23:24). See monaka-lie.
- Fuses again straight into Ultra Instinct to face GT Beerus, believing him to be Monaka (ep 0013 00:09:13–00:09:41); vows to “put an end to these two” and thanks Vegito, his “friend” (ep 0013 00:12:14–00:12:24).
- Vegito: SS4 plus mastered Ultra Instinct has made him “a monster”; he wonders what will become of that universe now (ep 0013 00:15:06–00:15:21).
Stage: GT timeline, 40 years on — God of Destruction (ep 0031–0034)
- Emerges from the Pyramid of Power as “God of destruction, Ultra Gogeta”: the destroyers’ garb, black lightning, no longer ageing (ep 0031 00:19:38–00:21:57). Trained 40 years by Beerus (now his teacher) and Whis; has mastered God, Blue “and further beyond”, Ultra Instinct and Ultra Ego, combined into the Ultra form (ep 0031 00:22:04–00:22:12; ep 0032 00:01:40–00:01:56).
- Saw through the Monaka lie when Beerus introduced him to the real Monaka (ep 0031 00:27:52–00:28:20); refuses to believe Vegito about Planet Vegeta (ep 0031 00:27:22–00:27:42).
- Fights Vegito: a punch, steerable energy balls (“a little trick from our old friend Yamcha”), an Android 16-style bear hug and piledriver; takes the God Slayer blade through the shoulder and breaks it with a recalled energy ball; must finish before “defusing”; ends with a point-blank Kamehameha after teleporting under Vegito (ep 0032 00:09:21–00:30:58).
- Status: alive (ep 0032 00:30:58).
- His point-blank Kamehameha is absorbed by apparitions of Quitela, Toppo and Belmod; he says news of Vegito’s god murders reached his universe and Whis showed him everything (ep 0033 00:01:14–00:02:44).
- Loses an arm to a Marcarita apparition; calls Vegito “a disgrace” for using “puppets”; knocked out face-first into Beerus’s planet, and the fusion ends (ep 0033 00:09:12–00:18:17). Goku and Vegeta come out with both arms (00:18:25–00:18:30).
- After defusing, Goku and Vegeta turn against Beerus and leave the destroyer role; Goku promises Vegito help and a rematch (ep 0034 00:20:04–00:26:51). See gt-allies.
Stage: GT timeline — Seraphim-demon Gogeta, in Vegito’s timeline (ep 0082–)
- The GT timeline’s Gogeta (narration, ep 0083 00:01:06). Summoned into the Pyramid of Power by Vegito with the destroyers’ summoning button, “Modelled after Zenos”, that Gogeta had given him; arrived after Goku left and trained with Vegito for years, on top of non-stop training in his own timeline — Vegito’s “final request” (ep 0083 00:04:18–00:07:48).
- Learned the basics of the Seraphim from Vegito, who picked them up by watching Goku (ep 0083 00:08:23–00:08:39).
- Demon horns: he killed GT Beerus after Vegito left, “as one god of destruction to another”, which the realm allows; no punishment. Giving up the title later returned his mortality, with the horns (ep 0083 00:11:18–00:12:18). See demon-fate.
- New form: fur, a tail, a white fur shawl, a purple scar across the face; a black-furred demon left side with black lightning and a white-furred right side with the Seraphim eye and white lightning — “the first half Seraphim, half demon in history” (ep 0083 00:14:24–00:16:14). Vegeta: a complete true demon form, further than Vegito’s [?] (ep 0083 00:16:58–00:17:05).
- Techniques: Meteor Explosion (ep 0083 00:25:19); twin black-lightning energy balls (ep 0083 00:27:03); the Stardust Breaker, which he once used to erase Janemba and which erases negative energy (ep 0083 00:32:05, 00:36:03–00:36:12).
- Claims to be claustrophobic (ep 0083 00:25:59).
- Defuses just as the Stardust Breaker is about to erase Dark (ep 0083 00:37:01–00:37:37).
Stage: Ultra Gogeta in Vegito’s place — Stardust Gogeta (ep 0139–)
- (GT) Rises from Vegito’s grave in sector 2: blonde like a Super Saiyan, with green Seraphim eyes, “with full control of everybody’s power instead of Vegito” (ep 0139 00:37:31–00:38:55). Same power level and energy as Vegito, but a different fighter: he had watched Kazuya from inside Vegito and “downloaded” him (ep 0140 00:03:08–00:09:14).
- Stardust Gogeta (ep 0140 00:29:15–00:36:41): he drives a Stardust Breaker into his own chest; it burns out Vegito (“Positive energy… Must erase negative”) and Goku Black, and leaves him white and colourless with a rainbow aura and white Seraphim eyes; his touch burns Devil Kazuya and his blows are stronger the darker the foe (ep 0141 00:03:29, 00:20:39–00:23:48, 00:25:27). He can split into five with a multi-form technique (ep 0141 00:31:42–00:32:55).
- Defuses at the worst moment — outside Vegito the fusion can run out again (ep 0141 00:37:04–00:38:41). Re-fused with the fingertips missing, he returns as a short, fat Stardust Gogeta: slow, but good at taking hits; his energy attacks, including a first Stardust Kamehameha, are no longer enough (ep 0142 00:14:45–00:34:18).
Variants
- Hub: Gogeta.
- Gogeta (main) — the Ultra Gogeta of the first episode, in Ultra Vegito’s own timeline.
- Gogeta (Hera’s god-killer) — the self-styled leader of Hera’s team.
Status
- GT Gogeta: absorbed back into Ultra Vegito after one punch (ep 0143 00:30:59–00:31:10); not seen apart since.
- The path there: after the year’s training Goku and Vegeta walk out separately (ep 0012 00:22:29); fused again in Ultra Instinct against GT Beerus and Whis, outcome not shown (ep 0013 00:09:19, 00:12:24); 40 years on, beaten by Vegito and defused, then allied with him (ep 0033 00:17:02–00:18:18; ep 0034 00:26:15–00:26:51); as horned Ultra Gogeta he comes out of the Pyramid of Power in Vegito’s timeline — “So this is Vegito’s timeline!” (ep 0082 00:41:40–00:42:30) — and is the GT timeline’s Gogeta, summoned by the button (ep 0083 00:01:06); defused mid-fight with Dark (ep 0083 00:37:01–00:37:20); absorbed into Vegito, “temporarily” (ep 0085 00:28:03–00:28:28); out again in sector 2 as Stardust Gogeta, defused and re-fused wrongly into a fat Gogeta (ep 0141 00:37:04; ep 0142 00:16:34, 00:34:02).

- ep 0141: saves Black, outfights Kazuya and lands a Stardust Breaker on his chest; defuses as he raises his palm to finish him (00:16:30–00:38:41).
- ep 0142: re-fuses wrongly into a fat Stardust Gogeta; at Vegito’s suggestion fires a Stardust Kamehameha, which Kazuya walks through (00:13:59–00:34:18).
- ep 0143: fires the strongest Stardust Kamehameha “in history”, hitting Kazuya and Vegito; back in base, offers Vegito peace; forced to fight, goes Stardust and is beaten by one punch, then absorbed as goo (00:04:31–00:31:10).
Open questions
- Can he ever leave Vegito again? He gave himself up the first time on the promise it was “temporary” (ep 0085 00:26:52–00:28:28); after ep 0143 the story doesn’t say.
