Overview

The GT timeline’s God of Destruction. He meets Vegito when Vegito visits that timeline, charges him and is stopped by GT Gogeta (ep 0013 00:05:03–00:09:33). Forty years on he has trained Gogeta to succeed him (ep 0031 00:23:24–00:24:11); he fights Vegito, erases half his head, confesses he ordered Planet Vegeta’s destruction, and is drained of his destruction energy (ep 0033 00:20:30–00:27:40; ep 0034 00:18:55–00:23:58). GT Gogeta later killed him (ep 0083 00:09:44–00:11:54).

As of the latest episode (ep 0261): dead, killed by GT Gogeta “as one god of destruction to another” (Gogeta’s account, ep 0083 00:09:44–00:11:54).

Affiliations & relationships

Abilities / traits

  • First visit (ep 0012–0013):
    • Appears with Whis at the end of ep 0012, apparently waiting for Vegito, Goku and Vegeta; Vegito senses a familiar, divine presence and is haunted by their “ghostly faces” (ep 0012 00:23:36–00:23:58). They are the GT timeline’s own Beerus and Whis — the recap calls them “the Beerus and Whis of this timeline” (ep 0013 00:00:09). See gt-beerus-whis.
    • He had come looking for a Super Saiyan God to match him (ep 0013 00:05:17–00:05:22), and hopes the stranger isn’t the one “the oracle fish prophesies” (ep 0013 00:05:24).
    • Fears the stranger’s existence could doom them all if “the god of all” learns of it, and charges him (ep 0013 00:05:03–00:05:29).
    • Stopped in his tracks by Gogeta’s fusion; GT Gogeta calls him “kitty cat” (ep 0013 00:08:38–00:09:33).
    • After Vegito escapes: “we messed up big time”, unsure whether to tell Zeno, “knowing his temper” (ep 0013 00:12:33–00:12:41). How his fight with Gogeta ends isn’t shown.
  • Forty years on (ep 0031–0034):
    • Alive, “a former God”: Gogeta’s teacher and training partner, now that Gogeta is God of Destruction; wrapped in the same black lightning as Gogeta and Vegito (ep 0031 00:23:24–00:24:11). He introduced Gogeta to the real Monaka (ep 0031 00:28:11).
    • Calls Vegito “a meddler in time”, guilty of one of Zeno’s seven cardinal sins, and means to deal with him after Gogeta (ep 0032 00:03:17–00:03:44); tips Gogeta off mid-fight and is told to step aside — “ungrateful brat” (ep 0032 00:06:01–00:08:53); shocked that Vegito shrugs off Gogeta’s piledriver (ep 0032 00:18:08–00:18:16).
    • Recognises the apparitions of Belmod and Quitela, and Toppo as “Belmod’s destroyer candidate” (ep 0033 00:03:49–00:04:23); lets Whis fight beside him for the first time in centuries (ep 0033 00:11:02–00:11:16).
    • Seeing Goku and Vegeta beaten, powers up to his maximum in a rage “Never before seen”, kicks the Belmod apparition in half and beheads the Cognac one (ep 0033 00:20:30–00:22:23); Vegito calls him stronger than his own timeline’s Beerus and than Gogeta (00:22:45–00:22:55).
    • His Hakai-coated fist erases half of Vegito’s head, which grows back (ep 0033 00:24:24–00:27:40); he is left paralysed in fear (00:28:40–00:28:52).
    • Recalls “Lucif”, the only other being he saw reverse an erasure (ep 0034 00:02:34–00:03:12); refuses to fight a stronger foe (ep 0034 00:05:37–00:05:55).
    • Confesses he ordered Frieza to destroy Planet Vegeta to make Vegeta his successor (ep 0034 00:18:55–00:19:43).
    • Drained of his destruction energy and left alive, “no destroyer anymore”, his fate left to Goku and Vegeta (ep 0034 00:22:38–00:23:58).
    • An apparition of Beerus fights for Vegito against Hit’s clones (ep 0036 00:23:08) (inferred: from the GT Beerus’s drained energy).
