Summary

Goku Black, holding Kazuya in chains, boasts that he is a Kai and that these are Katchin chains from a realm only Kais can reach — the very chains that held Vegito for ten years — which he can now summon without a time ring (ep 0142 00:01:44–00:05:08). Vegito, who recognises them, wonders whether they could still hold him, let alone Kazuya; Kazuya swells with muscle, drags the chains out of their portals and shatters them (ep 0142 00:05:37–00:10:47). Vegito sends GT Goku and GT Vegeta off to fuse again and takes a punch to buy them time, while Kazuya catches Black’s rosé scythe by the shaft: “You hold no power here!” (ep 0142 00:08:39–00:13:59). The two Saiyans’ fingers miss in the dance, and Stardust Gogeta returns short and fat (ep 0142 00:13:59–00:19:40). The fat Gogeta can’t land a blow, and Kazuya’s punch sinks deep into his belly, which at least soaks up hits (ep 0142 00:19:58–00:24:40). On Vegito’s advice — his energy should be about the same — Gogeta charges a Stardust Kamehameha; Vegito teleports into the path of Kazuya’s beam to protect him, and Gogeta fires (ep 0142 00:25:01–00:28:38). Kazuya takes the wave head-on with crossed arms and starts to burn, but then walks through it — the fat fusion is far weaker — and his devil laser cuts through the Kamehameha (ep 0142 00:29:13–00:34:18). Vegito, deciding he can only ever rely on himself, appears behind Kazuya with his God Slayer Blade, to Kazuya’s laughter (ep 0142 00:34:18–00:35:55). Saying he now “sees the light”, Vegito takes on the form and energy of Light, his body and blade turning white, and cuts Kazuya down — ending the emperor of sector 2 (ep 0142 00:35:55–00:37:52).

  • “Akai” in the transcript is read as “a Kai” (Black calling himself a Kai) (00:02:46–00:03:52) (likely).
  • The narration calls Light “The first of the five strongest” (00:37:05); he was the fifth (ep 0079–0084). Logged in retcons.
  • The narration says Vegito “would finally end” Kazuya (00:37:23–00:37:52), but he survives the slash, cut in half; Vegito drains and absorbs him in ep 0143 00:12:31–00:16:17. Whether Vegito took him or only his Devil Gene isn’t shown.
  • The God Slayer Blade is an energy blade from Vegito’s arm (ep 0006), so its return after shattering in ep 0138 needs no explanation (inferred).
  • Vegito with Light’s power: Vegito drained Light in ep 0084; that this is where the form comes from is (inferred).
