Episode 0034
Summary
Beerus, terrified that a mortal could reverse his own erasure, says he hasn’t seen anything like it since someone called “Lucif”, a name he swears never to speak again — and Vegito wants that figure’s energy too (ep 0034 00:02:20–00:03:50). Vegito lifts Beerus by the throat; Beerus refuses to fight a stronger foe and asks only how the Hakai was undone (ep 0034 00:03:57–00:06:09). Whis attacks, but the Belmod apparition — still there though kicked in half — grabs his foot, and apparitions of Quitela and Marcarita block him; Whis too recalls a demonic, grinning figure (ep 0034 00:06:27–00:09:14). Vegito explains: a Hakai can be pushed back only while it is happening, but once the body starts erasing only a time ring can bring it back; each ring grows brittle and allows two escapes from death, so he now has “four rings and eight lives left” (ep 0034 00:11:00–00:13:01). He revives the unconscious Goku and Vegeta with his own energy, then freezes them in place to hear Beerus’s story (ep 0034 00:14:02–00:18:06). Beerus confesses that he ordered Frieza to destroy Planet Vegeta and its five million Saiyans to make Vegeta his successor (ep 0034 00:18:55–00:19:43). Enraged, Goku and Vegeta break free and their destroyer garb tears away, a sign they no longer serve as destroyers (ep 0034 00:20:04–00:21:19). Vegito drains Beerus’s Hakai energy but leaves him alive: this Beerus didn’t wrong him, so his fate belongs to Goku and Vegeta (ep 0034 00:22:31–00:23:58). He asks them to join his fight against the Grand Priest and Zeno; Vegeta distrusts him, but Goku hands over his god-summoning button, shakes his hand and promises a rematch, and Vegito leaves through a time portal (ep 0034 00:24:36–00:27:15). A few weeks earlier, Champa, Vados and Cabba walk to the castle of the King of Sadala, who mocks Champa as a fat stray cat, shrugs off a threat to erase his planet out of sheer boredom — but perks up when Champa mentions “King vs King”: he wants to meet this Saiyan king (ep 0034 00:27:33–00:33:53).
Key events

- 00:03:07–00:03:12 Beerus: “I should never mention that name again!”
- 00:03:29–00:03:50 Vegito wants to know who Lucif is and to make his energy his.
- 00:04:04–00:04:16 Vegito lifts Beerus by the throat.
- 00:05:37–00:05:55 Beerus: “I’ve lived long enough to know when I’ve been beat… Just take my energy”.
- 00:06:27–00:06:32 Whis: “Let go of him demon. You may have slain my brothers and sisters”.
- 00:06:49–00:06:55 Vegito keeps a soft spot for Whis, “The only one who eventually saved him”.

- 00:08:57–00:09:14 Whis: such evil “has only ever been seen once before”; another demonic grinning figure in his mind.
- 00:09:31–00:09:56 Vegito: if he breaks Beerus’s neck Whis loses his powers — Whis wonders how a mortal knows that.
- 00:11:00–00:11:23 Vegito: a Hakai can be pushed back if weak enough or the target is far stronger, but only while it is happening.
- 00:11:23–00:11:46 He recalls Frieza hitting him with a Hakai — “I think it was given to him by Sidra” — and surviving it.
- 00:11:46–00:12:31 Once a body starts erasing, only a time ring can undo it; he let Rumsshi erase almost his whole body to test this.

- 00:13:01–00:13:14 Beerus: “How could a Saiyan discover such a thing that the Kai’s could not? Lucif? Could he too have?”
- 00:14:10–00:14:50 Vegito floats the unconscious Goku and Vegeta over to Beerus.
- 00:15:14–00:16:16 His energy blast revives them — “in classic DB style”.
- 00:17:06–00:17:33 Closing his fist, he freezes them like statues.
- 00:18:58–00:19:11 Beerus: “It was I who ordered Frieza to destroy Planet Vegeta… 5 million men, women and children”.
- 00:19:16–00:19:27 “A destroyer’s final goal is to seek out and create the next god… you, Vegeta, were that candidate.”
- 00:19:38 “you too, Goku, were never even supposed to exist.”
- 00:20:07–00:20:12 Goku: “Maybe, Vegeta was right about you. You are a demon.”
- 00:21:07–00:21:19 They break free; their destroyer garb rips off.
- 00:22:05–00:22:15 Vegito: Beerus will pay for being complicit in erasing his home planet.
- 00:22:38–00:23:12 Vegito drains Beerus’s destruction energy, then lets him drop.

- 00:24:53–00:25:02 Gogeta is “a true rival”; Vegito needs that strength against the Grand Priest and Zeno.
- 00:25:27–00:25:34 “Give me your summoning button”.
- 00:26:15–00:26:28 Goku hands over his summoning button, “The same one all destroyers are given”.

- 00:27:06–00:27:15 Vegito leaves through another time portal.
- 00:27:36–00:27:43 The scene moves “a few weeks in the past”, to “a strange new planet”.
- 00:27:54–00:27:56 Champa is “the brother of Beerus”.

Uncertainties
- The title says Vegito kills Beerus, but in the episode he only drains him and leaves him alive, weakened (00:23:08–00:23:58).
- “Lucif” is as heard here; later episode titles use the same spelling (eps 0244–0245). Whether Whis’s “demonic representation” (00:09:04–00:09:14) is the same figure is implied, not said (inferred).
- Frieza hitting Vegito with a Hakai “given to him by Sidra” (00:11:23–00:11:32) matches no scene in the wiki so far — see retcons.
- The Rumsshi account (00:11:56–00:12:14) differs from ep 0010, where he escaped into the past an instant before erasure — see retcons.
- Ring arithmetic: four rings with two lives each = eight lives; the ring that broke may have been the one first used against Rumsshi, so this was its second use (inferred).
- Who shouts “I introduced you to my family! … my family and mother’s death!” (00:20:17–00:20:25) is unclear — Goku’s mother died with Planet Vegeta; Vegeta’s family is also a fit (speaker inferred as unclear).
- The Champa scene is “a few weeks in the past” (00:27:36); which timeline isn’t said, but Champa is alive and knows of “a godkiller on the loose” (00:30:51), so it is Vegito’s own timeline (inferred). The “Saiyan king” Champa means is presumably Vegito, styled after Vegeta’s royal title (inferred).
