Summary

Super Saiyan 3 Vegito trades blows with Kefla, who tells him not to talk down to her like Cabba’s master, while Final Cabba fires homing beams from below as part of a plan prepared “for years” (ep 0038 00:01:41–00:04:13). Vegito opens a time portal as a shield, and the beams come out of another portal behind Kefla, striking her in the back (ep 0038 00:05:41–00:07:57). His God Slayer blade misses Cabba, who answers with a vast blast “inspired by Vegeta’s own signature attack” that swells to Spirit Bomb size and detonates around him (ep 0038 00:09:05–00:13:44). Vegito reappears unharmed in Ultra Ego; Kefla, furious that he is showing off yet another form, loses control in a Kale-like rage — pupils gone, body swelling — and pounds him into the ground and across the sky (ep 0038 00:15:45–00:24:18). Cabba realises Vegito’s power keeps rising the more he is hit (ep 0038 00:24:41–00:25:09). Vegito catches Kefla’s last punch and, saying the word he had reserved for the gods, erases her arm with a Hakai, then kicks her down, unconscious and back in base form — still fused; he says she’ll be whole again when she defuses (ep 0038 00:26:01–00:28:46). Seeing what his master has become, Cabba snaps, his aura reaching into space; Vegito, declaring “I’m the main character here!”, turns to his Ultra form and toys with him, arms folded, kicking away his ki ball (ep 0038 00:29:08–00:34:21). A palm to the neck drops Cabba, who takes it better than Hit did — “Maybe you are worthy of being called my student” (ep 0038 00:34:39–00:36:03). As the one-armed Kefla shields Cabba and Vegito charges a wall of energy to finish them, the Pyramid of Power opens: out come a battered Champa and Vados and a transformed King of Sadala, beardless and scarred from endless years of battle (ep 0038 00:36:03–00:38:12). Kefla cries “Father!”; the king looks at Vegito: “So… This is the so-called Saiyan King? How disappointing.” (ep 0038 00:38:39–00:39:20).

Uncertainties

  • dropped a run of “Ah!” lines (00:10:03–00:10:36).
  • Cabba’s attack call (00:10:38–00:10:40) is garbled; the narration says only that it was inspired by Vegeta’s signature attack (Final Flash or Galick Gun, inferred).
  • Vegito’s form after the explosion is named as Ultra Ego (00:16:15–00:16:25); Cabba notes his eyebrows are still gone (00:16:47–00:16:58). His power climbing as he is beaten matches Ultra Ego’s rule in the story (ep 0025–0027, Android-saga Goku) (inferred).
  • “the one word he had previously reserved for the gods” (00:26:32–00:26:41): he has used Hakai on non-gods before — Android 18 (ep 0018) and Frieza (ep 0030) — so this is loose wording (inferred; not logged as a retcon).
  • Kefla appears in base form, one-armed, and is called Kefla throughout; whether the angel-grade Potara keep her fused until removed isn’t tested (00:28:21–00:28:28).
  • The final words “Cabba. Kale. Caulifla.” (00:37:23) are as heard.
  • How long the king trained isn’t said — “endless years” (00:38:01–00:38:12).
