Summary

Ultra Gogeta, blonde with green Seraphim eyes, tells Devil Kazuya this is the first time he has seen Vegito lose; Kazuya senses the same power level and identical energy, and says the fight is already decided (ep 0140 00:01:42–00:04:38). Gogeta’s first blows don’t even move Kazuya’s head, but — having watched the whole fight from inside Vegito and “downloaded” him — Gogeta dodges Kazuya’s punches and his third-eye laser, even a barrage of lasers that slices Kazuya’s own tower in half (ep 0140 00:05:02–00:13:14). Gogeta’s Stardust Breaker, though weaker, eats through Kazuya’s beam and makes Kazuya dodge for the first time; Kazuya feels the energy is at odds with the demon realm (ep 0140 00:13:55–00:17:29). Gogeta recalls that the Stardust Breaker erased the pure-evil Janemba and suspects the Devil Gene is similar — but while he thinks, Kazuya pounds him into a mountain (ep 0140 00:19:32–00:25:23). Gogeta escapes and drives a Stardust Breaker into his own chest (ep 0140 00:25:48–00:29:50). Inside, Vegito alone starts to burn — “Because… I’m evil!” — while Yamoshi, who says he has spent millennia repenting by holding back demons from the mortal realm, is untouched (ep 0140 00:30:19–00:33:06). After a huge explosion, Vegito shoots out of the smoke in his own body, and Gogeta rises in a new rainbow-aura form, Stardust Gogeta, merged with the Stardust Breaker’s energy (ep 0140 00:33:34–00:36:00). Gogeta apologises: the form couldn’t work with Vegito inside him; Vegito notes Gogeta no longer has his energy (ep 0140 00:36:21–00:37:25). Goku Black, also expelled for the form, appears beside them, changed — three Saiyans now face Kazuya (ep 0140 00:37:25–00:38:53).

Key events

  • 00:01:06–00:01:42 Ultra Gogeta, the Metamoran fusion, rises from Vegito’s grave: blonde hair, green Seraphim eyes.
  • 00:02:21–00:02:46 Gogeta: this is the first time he has seen Vegito lose; Kazuya at last looks like a real demon.
  • 00:03:08–00:03:33 Kazuya: same look, identical energy — has the Saiyan lost his mind?
  • 00:03:53 Gogeta objects: he doesn’t look like Vegito and is dressed differently.
  • 00:04:19–00:04:38 Kazuya: the power level is unchanged, so the result is too.
  • 00:05:02–00:05:22 Gogeta: fights aren’t won by power level — he’ll show how they do it “in the future” (the GT timeline).
  • 00:05:42–00:06:32 A kick and a double-fist hammer don’t move Kazuya at all.
  • 00:06:56–00:07:56 Gogeta dodges Kazuya’s punch with little trouble and backflips away.
  • 00:07:56–00:08:38 Kazuya: every attack landed on the God Killer, yet this one reads him better.
  • 00:08:38–00:09:14 Gogeta: same power level, but he fights and defends differently, and has been “downloading” Kazuya the whole fight.
  • 00:09:50–00:10:52 The third-eye laser — Gogeta saw it already, and dodges.
  • 00:11:16–00:12:57 Kazuya fires lasers in all directions; Gogeta’s afterimages dodge them; one slices the Mishima tower in half.
  • 00:13:35–00:14:55 Gogeta’s rainbow-coloured energy ball — the attack he used against Broly — the Stardust Breaker.
  • 00:15:16–00:16:33 Kazuya’s laser can’t stop it; it eats through the beam, and Kazuya has to dodge for the first time.
  • 00:17:04–00:17:29 Kazuya: the Devil Gene knew not to touch it; the energy is at odds with the demon realm.
  • 00:17:43–00:19:14 A Double Stardust Breaker; Kazuya dodges both and calls it wasted energy.
  • 00:19:32–00:20:16 Gogeta: Kazuya tanked everything, even the God Slayer Blade, but avoids the Stardust Breaker; it erased Janemba, pure evil, at once — is the Devil Gene similar?
  • 00:20:39 Gogeta wonders whether he could use the Stardust Breaker’s energy some other way.
  • 00:21:02–00:22:53 Kazuya bloodies Gogeta’s nose and elbows him into a mountain, knocking him out briefly.
  • 00:23:45–00:24:15 Gogeta: not even Omega Shenron hurt him this much.
  • 00:24:40–00:25:48 Kazuya pounds him into the mountain — “the soon-to-be Devil of the Demon Realm”.
  • 00:25:48–00:26:33 Gogeta escapes into the air.
  • 00:26:51–00:27:15 Gogeta: no more mistakes; he’ll show something new.
  • 00:27:15–00:28:46 Kazuya’s axe kick stops short when Gogeta holds up another Stardust Breaker.
  • 00:28:46–00:29:50 Gogeta: Kazuya may not be the target; he thrusts the Stardust Breaker into his own chest, screaming.
  • 00:30:19–00:31:29 Inside, Vegito’s body starts to smoke and burn: “The Stardust Breaker is destroying me! Because… I’m evil!”
  • 00:31:44–00:32:37 Vegito: why only him, when Yamoshi killed his own loved ones? Yamoshi: he has had millennia to repent, stopping thousands of demons from entering the mortal realm. Broly just shrugs.
  • 00:33:34–00:34:13 The Stardust energy expands into a huge explosion.
  • 00:34:13–00:34:38 Vegito bursts out of the smoke, separate from Gogeta.
  • 00:35:01–00:35:38 Gogeta emerges in white light with a rainbow aura — “Stardust Gogeta”.
  • 00:36:00–00:36:21 Kazuya: Gogeta merged with that energy.
  • 00:36:21–00:36:41 Gogeta to Vegito: the form couldn’t work with someone like him inside — “Positive energy… Must erase negative”.
  • 00:37:04–00:37:25 Vegito: Gogeta no longer has his energy, but has the rest.
  • 00:37:25–00:37:58 A third voice: Goku Black, also kicked out of Gogeta’s body for the form, returns “With untold changes”.
  • 00:38:25–00:38:53 Kazuya faces three Saiyans, all technically fusions.

Uncertainties

  • Who is now “inside” whom: Vegito speaks from inside “the fused warrior’s mind” (00:30:19) and then escapes outward (00:34:13); whether Yamoshi and Broly are still inside Gogeta isn’t said (inferred: yes).
  • Goku Black “having to manually be kicked out of the fused body of Gogeta” (00:37:28–00:37:58) suggests the Stardust form also rejected him (inferred); why isn’t explained.
  • Janemba and the Stardust Breaker are references to the source series’ film; in this story Gogeta speaks of it as his own past (00:19:55).
  • “Stardust Gogeta” is the narration’s name for the form (00:35:38).
