Summary

On Champa’s planet, Caulifla and Kale wait impatiently for the training they were promised, Caulifla determined to prove the girls stronger than the boys (ep 0035 00:02:42–00:04:43). Champa, Vados and Cabba arrive with the King of Sadala, who turns out to be Caulifla’s father — he hasn’t seen her since she was a baby, and she doubts a man who can’t even turn Super Saiyan (ep 0035 00:05:01–00:08:12). Champa scorns Super Saiyan and says they must go far beyond it to catch Universe 7’s Saiyans (ep 0035 00:08:23–00:08:42). Privately he reveals why the king matters: long ago the Oracle Fish told him the king’s unlocked power would shock the multiverse — he is meant to be Champa’s successor as God of Destruction, but is too lazy to care even if his planet is destroyed (ep 0035 00:09:30–00:10:03). Kale, jealous as the king hugs Caulifla, starts to awaken her Legendary Super Saiyan power; Cabba defuses the moment, and Vados summons a Pyramid of Power, where the four begin training (ep 0035 00:11:41–00:13:29). In the present, the exhausted Vegito, newly clothed and fed, arrives in a Universe 6 city, steals a young man’s wages in MUI and pays for a hotel room with them (ep 0035 00:13:33–00:18:11). In bed he takes stock: six gods remain, but he absorbed the energy of only three of the gods he killed and two angels, so he will have to go back in time for the rest — though he doubts he could ever take Whis’s (ep 0035 00:18:30–00:19:27). That night a masked, red-eyed figure creeps in to strike his heart, calling him Son Goku, but Vegito wakes just in time, senses nothing and goes back to sleep (ep 0035 00:19:48–00:22:55). Next morning, as he asks his staff to take him to this universe’s God of Destruction, beams of compressed air pierce his heart and body from afar, and he falls dead (ep 0035 00:23:36–00:25:58). The shooter is Hit, the assassin, unaged; he confirms the kill and moves on to “target number two… Another time ring abuser” — but one of Vegito’s four rings crumbles, Vegito revives, and asks Hit to tell him more (ep 0035 00:26:00–00:29:42).

Key events

  • 00:00:09–00:00:36 Recap: Champa recruited the King of Sadala, who agreed once told the god killer is a Saiyan and “another king too”.
  • 00:02:27–00:02:32 Champa’s planet resembles Beerus’s: blue-green grass, pink skies.
  • 00:03:03 Caulifla: they were to start training “first thing in the morning”.
  • 00:04:19–00:04:28 The Saiyans on Sadala won’t let the sisters go on missions.
  • 00:05:01–00:05:10 Four arrive: the King of Sadala, Champa, Vados and Cabba.
  • 00:06:09–00:06:47 Caulifla: “Dad?” — the king: “My daughter!”
  • 00:07:05 Caulifla: the last time he saw her or her mother, she was a baby.
  • 00:08:07 Caulifla: the king “can’t even turn Super Saiyan”.
  • 00:08:27–00:08:42 Champa: Super Saiyan is “that useless form”; they must go “far, far beyond that”.
  • 00:09:03 Caulifla: their mother called him “the laziest man she’d ever met”.
  • 00:09:32 Champa (thinking): “I can’t reveal anything about the ritual to these fools.”
  • 00:09:35–00:09:47 The Oracle Fish foretold the king’s unlocked power would shock the multiverse: “He is the true, next god of destruction”.
  • 00:09:57–00:10:03 Even destroying his home planet wouldn’t faze the king.
  • 00:10:34–00:10:39 Caulifla is “obsessed” with beating Son Goku.
  • 00:11:13 The king: “making up all the time I missed out on you growing up.”
  • 00:11:41–00:11:54 Kale, angered, begins to awaken her Legendary Super Saiyan power.
  • 00:12:37–00:13:02 Vados summons the Pyramid of Power on Champa’s planet.
  • 00:13:23–00:13:29 The doors close; training to defeat Vegito begins.
  • 00:13:39–00:13:43 Present: Vegito, with new clothes and fed, in a city in Universe 6.
  • 00:13:52–00:13:56 Vegito has been “running about between universes non-stop” and needs sleep.
  • 00:14:58–00:15:18 He avoids a commotion like the one in Sidra’s universe with the Trio of Danger.
  • 00:15:29–00:15:47 In MUI, he snatches a young man’s money bags.
  • 00:16:41 Vegito: “That’s why I never married Bulma!”
  • 00:17:24–00:17:47 A hotel room costs 10 zenny; he pays thousands.
  • 00:18:35–00:18:41 “there only remain six gods left… I have all the answers I need”.
  • 00:18:47–00:18:52 Of the six gods he killed, he absorbed the energy of three, and of only two angels.
  • 00:18:57–00:19:12 To complete his form he must go back in time for the energies he missed — at the very end.
  • 00:19:14–00:19:27 He may never be able to take Whis’s energy “after what you did for me”.
  • 00:19:55–00:20:30 A masked figure with crimson eyes enters, trained to hide his presence.
  • 00:20:32–00:21:04 “you are my target. This is business, not personal… Sleep well. Son Goku.”
  • 00:21:15–00:21:43 The strike at Vegito’s heart; he wakes just before it lands.
  • 00:22:42 Vegito: “See you soon, Champa.”
  • 00:23:36–00:24:12 He brings out his staff: “Take me to this universe’s god of destruction!”
  • 00:24:22–00:24:51 A beam of “extremely condensed air” pierces his heart.
  • 00:25:13–00:25:58 More air beams from every direction; Vegito falls face first, dead.
  • 00:26:23–00:26:39 The cloaked man is Hit, “the legendary assassin”, “not aged a day”.
  • 00:26:53–00:27:02 Hit: Vegito’s instincts sensed him in the room last night.
  • 00:28:04–00:28:17 Hit checks for a pulse: “Mission accomplished. Target, eliminated.”
  • 00:28:35–00:28:45 “Now where is target number two? Another time ring abuser… These Saiyans”.
  • 00:28:51–00:29:00 One of Vegito’s four remaining time rings starts to crumble.
  • 00:29:19–00:29:24 Vegito: “Another time ring user, you say? Tell me more, Hit.”
  • 00:29:27–00:29:34 He has been revived “through sacrifice of his time rings”.

Uncertainties

  • The opening recap (00:00:00–00:00:36) describes story events and was kept.
  • The training scene is set before the present-day scenes (inferred: ep 0034 puts the recruitment “a few weeks in the past”, and “the scene then shifts back to the present”, 00:13:33).
  • “It’s been a long time, but we meet again” (ep 0034) and Caulifla being the king’s daughter are new; the source series doesn’t make them related (not a wiki contradiction; noted for reference).
  • Which three gods’ energy he holds isn’t listed. The apparitions so far are Quitela, Belmod (and Toppo, a candidate), with the angels Marcarita and Cognac (eps 0033–0034), plus GT Beerus’s Hakai energy (ep 0034) (inferred).
  • “Maybe that was just a flashback to Gero [?]” (00:22:10): heard “Jerome”; what earlier scene it means isn’t said.
  • Hit calls Vegito “Son Goku” and was once “considered a friend” (00:27:06); who hired him is never said, though he serves Chronoa (ep 0036 00:28:54–00:29:27). “Target number two”, another Saiyan “time ring abuser”, is unnamed — perhaps Goku Black (inferred: Black reaches Hit first, “someone already got to you before i did”, ep 0036 00:37:01–00:38:04).
  • Ring count after the revival: four rings, one now crumbling (its first use, so seven “lives” left by ep 0034’s arithmetic) (inferred).
