Summary

At Kaioken ×1000 Vegito feels his body breaking apart even with Buu’s regeneration, which “is not infinite” (ep 0056 00:00:43–00:02:38). Yamoshi bursts from the mountains, furious that “your elder saiyan” is challenged — “You only exist because of me!” — and Vegito pushes to ×1100 [?] (ep 0056 00:02:38–00:05:00). He smashes Yamoshi through a planet, follows him through the hole and drives him down onto another, but Yamoshi reverses the blow and pummels Vegito in his crater (ep 0056 00:05:35–00:13:44). Refusing to die, Vegito raises his Kaioken still higher, toys with Yamoshi by vanishing again and again, and then knocks him into a diamond-like structure (ep 0056 00:14:04–00:19:59). As he goes for the final blow, his heart explodes and he drops dead, still in his form (ep 0056 00:22:23–00:23:39). Yamoshi checks for a pulse, guesses the jump in power had a price, and recognises the Kaioken as a technique the lower Kais were taught; he slings the body over his shoulder to take it to the Grand Priest and Zeno — “It’s just… Business” (ep 0056 00:24:10–00:27:40). Vegito’s heart re-forms in pink, Majin style; he grabs Yamoshi from behind and self-destructs “like Vegeta’s last stand against Buu”, re-forming from pink goo (ep 0056 00:27:55–00:31:55). Drained, wishing he could have absorbed Yamoshi, he learns Yamoshi survived — only his armour is wrecked (ep 0056 00:32:13–00:35:05). Despairing — “Every new level I reach… someone far beyond me” — Vegito apologises to everyone, then presses a button at the last instant: Jiren, bulked up, horned and wreathed in black lightning, appears, takes Yamoshi’s blast without a flinch, and screams that he will kill Vegito (ep 0056 00:35:22–00:39:04).

Key events

  • 00:01:03–00:01:29 “Even with a Majin’s body… Buu’s regeneration abilities are not infinite” — a flashback to Buu’s beaten body after the fight with Kid Buu.
  • 00:02:04–00:02:22 “I’ve pushed things too far with times 1000! My whole body is breaking apart!”
  • 00:03:32–00:03:50 Yamoshi: “How dare you challenge your elder saiyan! You only exist because of me! You only know of the super saiyan forms because of the legends of my story!”
  • 00:04:33–00:05:00 “Since he’s a saiyan… There won’t be any [limits]… The same goes for me” — “1100!” [?]; a blood-red aura shoots from his skin.
  • 00:05:35–00:07:17 A blow from behind sends Yamoshi out of orbit and clean through another planet.
  • 00:08:04–00:09:15 Vegito follows through the tunnel; the planet bursts apart behind him.
  • 00:09:30–00:10:00 A double-fisted blow sends Yamoshi down to another planet.
  • 00:11:24–00:12:17 Yamoshi grabs Vegito’s fist and slams him down instead.
  • 00:13:11–00:13:44 Yamoshi pummels him: “I’m going to die here!… I’m not dying here!”
  • 00:14:04–00:16:01 Vegito pushes the fists away with his aura and powers up beyond belief; Yamoshi: “This is too much energy for one being… His body… Has to explode”.
  • 00:16:19–00:16:36 “I thought I told you gods already… To stop underestimating us”.
  • 00:17:06–00:19:01 Vegito vanishes and reappears again and again; Yamoshi threatens to destroy the universe.
  • 00:19:22–00:19:42 A punch sends Yamoshi into “a diamond-like structure”.
  • 00:20:47–00:21:20 Yamoshi: “He hasn’t transformed an inch… How could a mortal Saiyan… Surpass [?] one that attained Godhood”.
  • 00:21:36–00:21:53 “If I’m going to go out… I’m going to die like a true Saiyan”.
  • 00:22:23–00:23:08 Vegito’s heart, pumping too fast, “explodes… into a tsunami of flesh and blood”; his eyes go blank.
  • 00:23:23–00:23:39 “Not even reverting back… To base form… For the first time… Vegito… May be truly… Dead”.
  • 00:24:26–00:24:58 Yamoshi checks his pulse: “This fool is really dead… cold to the touch”.
  • 00:25:13–00:25:29 “Like he had summoned Lucif himself… That kind of jump… Just can’t be achieved… Without sacrifice”.
  • 00:25:44–00:26:15 Yamoshi: the Kaioken is “the technique that the lower Kai’s… Were taught to keep up with the Supreme Kai’s” — he doesn’t know King Kai taught Goku.
  • 00:26:31–00:27:21 He shoulders the body: “I remain the strongest Saiyan to have ever lived… My orders… Are to bring you to the Grand Priest and Zeno… this… Is not personal”.
  • 00:27:55–00:28:25 Vegito’s heart re-forms, pink, and beats: “Guess who’s back”.
  • 00:28:41 He locks Yamoshi’s arms from behind, “Raditz and Goku style”.
  • 00:29:12–00:30:20 “I WON’T DIE HERE!… Even if it means blowing me into a million pieces… I can come back from that… But you… Can’t!”
  • 00:30:35–00:31:07 The self-destruction leaves an island-sized crater, “Reminding us all… Of Vegeta’s last stand against Buu”.
  • 00:31:23–00:31:55 Blobs of Majin Buu’s pink goo rain down and join: he re-forms, “Now immune to his own self-destruction”.
  • 00:32:29–00:32:46 “even with the enhancements Gero [?] made… His little gadget can’t keep up with the levels of energy… I’ll need another senzu”.
  • 00:33:02–00:33:19 “a big loss… that I couldn’t absorb him… I’d practically be twice as strong instantly”.
  • 00:33:19–00:34:35 Yamoshi: “I’m still here ripe for absorption” — still in his Super Saiyan God form, most of his armour destroyed.
  • 00:34:50–00:35:05 Yamoshi: the Kaioken had “zapped away anything you had within you”.
  • 00:35:22–00:35:52 Vegito: “This mission of mine… It’s just impossible… Yet even they are below those two midgets”.
  • 00:36:07–00:36:23 Yamoshi: “It’s just as Madara told you… Well done for eliminating most of the destroyers… I can’t even afford to bring you back in one piece”.
  • 00:36:55–00:37:11 “I’m sorry everyone… I’m sorry for everything… I’m sorry… Warrior” — he pulls a button from his pocket and presses it.
  • 00:37:59–00:38:15 Jiren is summoned “Just as we saw him in an earlier chapter” — bulked up, coiled in black lightning, a black horn from his skull.
  • 00:38:33–00:38:48 Yamoshi: “Who the hell is that? A demon!” — Jiren takes his blast without reacting.
  • 00:39:04 Jiren: “VEGITO! I… WILL… KILL YOU!”

Uncertainties

  • “Your motion here! 1100!” (00:04:43) is taken as a Kaioken ×1100 call (inferred).
  • “the enhancements Gero [?] made… His little gadget” (00:32:32) — probably the android arm Dr. Gero’s lab built (ep 0020) (inferred).
  • Whose button: Vegito holds Jiren’s button (ep 0028) and GT Goku’s (ep 0034); this one brings Jiren (inferred: Jiren’s own, which he gave Vegito, ep 0028 00:22:20–00:25:44).
  • “I’m sorry… Warrior” (00:37:11) seems addressed to Jiren, whom he “didn’t want” to call (inferred).
