Aliases & name spellings

• Toppo; “beast man”, “Beastman”, “spandex-wearing lackeys” (Vegito, ep 0022 00:21:50, 00:23:03; ep 0028 00:21:13); “that Belmod’s destroyer candidate” (GT Beerus, ep 0033 00:04:21).

Overview

Pride Trooper of Universe 11 and its God of Destruction candidate (ep 0004 00:14:18; ep 0022 00:17:15–00:17:26). He lasted two days in the Pyramid of Power (ep 0022 00:02:52). Briefed by Belmod, he waited for Vegito on a ruined planet, called him a murderer of gods, and promised that “the real one” would end his life (ep 0022 00:21:17–00:22:57). After four years’ training (two days) in the pyramid he came in his full “Hakai-shin form” to punish Jiren for Belmod’s murder and was flattened by Jiren’s giant fist; Vegito then drained his destruction energy and left him near lifeless (ep 0028 00:02:09–00:05:04, 00:20:50–00:22:49). He is never seen alive again: his power fights on as Vegito’s apparition, and the narration later calls him “the late” candidate (ep 0039 00:30:22–00:31:49; ep 0179 00:28:14; ep 0192 00:30:32–00:30:38).

Affiliations & relationships

• Ultra Vegito: mocks him and reminds him Vegeta alone could beat him (ep 0022 00:21:33–00:23:39); drains him — “Beastman” (ep 0028 00:21:13–00:22:40).
• The Pride Troopers: blame “Son Goku” for “what you did to Toppo” (ep 0134 00:29:09–00:29:33).

Status

• Dead by ep 0192: the narration calls him “the late god-of-destruction candidate” (ep 0192 00:30:32–00:30:38). His death is never shown (inferred: he did not recover from Vegito’s draining, ep 0028).
• Earlier, in order: alive, “no god of destruction yet” (ep 0022 00:22:45, 00:26:35; ep 0024 00:03:38); not seen at Belmod’s death (ep 0026); drained of his destruction energy and left “near lifeless” on the ground in Universe 11 (ep 0028 00:22:31–00:22:56).
