Summary

The scarred, beardless King of Sadala praises Kefla, who berates him for taking so long; Cabba warns him that Vegito is far stronger than they prepared for — and the king is delighted, since this isn’t his final form either (ep 0039 00:01:39–00:05:20). Vegito thinks he looks familiar (ep 0039 00:05:28–00:05:42). At the king’s order to “Begin the ritual”, Vados restores Kefla and Cabba, who pour their energy into him, while Champa gloats that “The oracle fish never lies” (ep 0039 00:06:06–00:09:01). Vegito scoffs, but Champa and Cabba explain: the king has 99% of the maximum “S cells” — the cells that let Saiyans transform, more common in gentle hearts and in Universe 6 — against 25% for the young trio, so he can combine all their power (ep 0039 00:09:55–00:12:38). Thrilled, Vegito welcomes the challenge, unnerving Champa (ep 0039 00:13:12–00:14:49). Drained, Kefla and Cabba drop to base; the king grows a tail, white fur and white hair, with Cabba’s crimson eyes — “the true ultimate form of the Saiyans”, 100% S cells — which Vegito calls a Super Saiyan 5 (ep 0039 00:14:51–00:25:47). His full-power punch lands on Vegito’s face to no effect, revealing the black eye that marks the gods’ and angels’ powers inside him: “I’m no Saiyan anymore… I am a god killer” (ep 0039 00:27:44–00:29:59). Champa turns to find Vados drained into an empty husk by Vegito’s Cell tail; Vegito drives his arm through Champa’s chest, drains his god ki and crushes his heart, then erases both bodies with a Hakai (ep 0039 00:33:45–00:38:41). “Over halfway through the list”, Vegito counts five gods left — while Goku Black watches from the sky, recalling when Vegito Blue fought “the original Godkiller” (ep 0039 00:39:11–00:40:31).

  • “The ritual” here (00:06:33) is the energy transfer the three rehearsed; Champa ties it to the Oracle Fish’s plan for his successor (00:06:53–00:07:02) — whether it is the destroyers’ ritual Belmod described (ep 0029) isn’t said (inferred: related, since Champa hid “the ritual” from them in ep 0035).
  • “Just as impatient as my brother once was” (00:17:14): the king’s brother isn’t named. Kefla’s “my little brother” (00:03:32) is also new and unnamed.
  • “We Saiyans in Universe 6 learned that a long time ago” (00:09:37) is Vegito’s line as heard — he is from Universe 7.
