Summary
Bleeding from Jiren’s ambush, Vegito gets up and calls Jiren his old friend; Toppo offers to fight beside Jiren, but Jiren insists that “Son Goku” is his rival alone and sends him away (ep 0024 00:01:04–00:03:38). Vegito, who came only for Belmod, notes that Jiren looks older — he has trained as long as Vegito has (ep 0024 00:04:04–00:04:55). Jiren drops a weighted robe that explodes on landing, then moves too fast for Vegito to see and punches him into a building (ep 0024 00:05:04–00:06:51). Vegito’s Super Saiyan 2 [?] punch does nothing, and when he tries his arm’s energy absorber, a red-eyed barrier of Jiren’s energy throws him miles into the sky (ep 0024 00:07:45–00:10:55). Saving his strength for the Grand Priest and Zeno, he goes Super Saiyan Blue for the first time in the story and fires a Final Flash charged with black lightning; Jiren recognises Vegeta’s move, enters mastered Ultra Instinct and punches straight through it (ep 0024 00:11:23–00:17:39). Vegito answers with his own Ultra Instinct, claiming Jiren is still “a few levels behind” in using it, lands a punch and holds back (ep 0024 00:18:24–00:19:46). Jiren takes the mercy as proof that this is Goku; Vegito says he is here to kill this universe’s God of Destruction, and Jiren wonders if he’ll have the heart (ep 0024 00:19:59–00:21:16). After an exchange, Jiren throat-slams Vegito, then steps back — now they are “square” for the Tournament of Power (ep 0024 00:21:21–00:24:38). Jiren swats away a Kamehameha and dodges a Destructo Disk, then grows a giant apparition of his mastered Ultra Instinct aura — the same feat as Vegito’s final form — and Vegito matches it with his own (ep 0024 00:25:23–00:30:52). Jiren learned it after mentally fighting Goku over 100,000 times; Vegito needed a second angel’s training and his planet’s extinction (ep 0024 00:31:06–00:31:43). As the giants deadlock, Vegito asks where Belmod is; Jiren snaps his fingers and appears in a destroyer’s garb: “The God of Destruction of Universe 11 is me” (ep 0024 00:31:53–00:34:15).
